Really beautiful place in a remote location. I love the set up of the hot springs so that you have a tad more privacy over most places. The restaurant has wonderful food options. The staff was very friendly.

Our recent stay at the hot springs resort was very nice. We had rooms at the Cliffside and they were very comfortable. Our only complaint was the table in the room was not very large and there was only one over sized chair. Therefore, any card games or board games could not be played. The beds were very comfortable. On check out I mentioned to the agent the issue of table and chair. She told me that we could have called house keeping and they would have brought whatever furniture we needed. I'm not sure if there would have been an additional charge for this. We had several meals at the Lodge restaurant and the food was excellent. It was pricey but worth the money. The hot springs were great especially the natural pools down by the river. Overall, it was a good visit and I would definitely go back.

We spent a Sunday and Monday in January at Mt. Princeton and were very happy. 2 adults, 3 young kids. We stayed in the lodge (rm 43). It was very clean, quiet, had 3 nice large beds, (one in a private room), a Keurig and mini fridge, TV, and 3 nice large windows. The dining area was right down the hall. We had a great dinner. The kids had a healthy chicken breast plate (6$) and we had french dip (about 11$ I think), and a burger (12$). All had nicely prepared sides and tasted great. Service was wonderful as well. The lodge was at full capacity and we were glad we had reservations (booked dinner when we checked in at 3:00. Staying at the lodge was ideal. The stairs to the pool and Chalk Creek springs was right across the parking lot to the lodge. We just walked down in our robes and slippers and ...we were there. The pools were great, but what we really enjoyed the most were the natural pools (holes, spots..whatever you want to call them) along Chalk Creek. Now THAT was fun, relaxing, and just plain wonderful! We had to wait 1/2 an hour the first time we looked for a 'hole' to sit in as there were lots of people the weekend we went (MLK weekend)..but it didn't take long, and we sat in the pools above and the steam room in the meantime. No problem with that! When a spot on the creek opened up..we pretty much stayed there the whole evening until dinner. The kids had a blast, we found rocks to lay our heads on..and it was pure bliss. After a nice dinner in the lodge...we went back to the creek, found a spot again, and sat in clouds of steam starring at the stars, listening to the rushing water a few feet away. The next day we had a nice breakfast, again...stuck with the more economical menu (there are 2 sides ($...and $$$). Husband and I split a breakfast burrito (12$). A bit $ much for your typical breakfast burrito...but it was good. Kids ate off the kids menu. There was also the option of an inexpensive continental breakfast which we were not aware of. We were happy with our choice though. Again....spent the day on the creek, and then booked massages at the spa. Wonderful! The kids can't wait to go back, and I can totally see us returning for another quick getaway from Denver. Ah...word of advice. The creek runs high during spring and summer run off. If you are expecting to sit in those awesome holes...check to see when they close the creek. Management told us that folks get bummed when they show up expecting to be able to sit creek side but are not able to due to snow melt and high water. Enjoy your stay. We sure did!

We really love this place, only one small hiccup - upon check in, we had to wait while the receptionist talked on the phone, for quite a while. It would have been nice to hear her say - 'let me wrap this up, as I have people in front of me', or something to that affect. After that, we were given a nice room on the Cliffside. It had a beautiful view. The room had all the pleasantries, nice Kingsized bed, comfortable bedding, couch, coffee table, HDTV, kitchenette and bath. If I had to improve anything it would be to make the room a bit more colorful with either paint or artwork - it is very neutral - luckily the views are great! Also the addition of robes would be wonderful. We will be back - this place is great!

We stayed in the hillside what ever you want to call it. two beds, a tv and a bathroom. Not one chair inside or out. no table to even play cards or a game. DON'T get a room on the hill side spend the extra money for a cabin or the cliff side. Pools are nice but being on the hillside the upper pool was closed so we had to drive to the pools. The panini at the Juice Bar were great, so were the smoothies! Rating would have been higher if the room at least had chairs outside, and would have been much higher if there were a table and chairs in the room.
