I didn't get a chance to get any services provided to me by Qi Spa because every time I tried to schedule an appointment there was an issue. I purchased a Groupon deal to get a Brazilian wax done. I attempted three different times to make an appointment with no success. It appears they have certain appointment times blocked off for Groupon deals and those times are primarily during the day. I have a full time job and I do not wish to use my leave to get waxed. I was really turned off by how nasty the people were over the phone when I tried to make appointments. Also on the Groupon it does not tell you there are certain days you can use the deal. To shorten this long story I ended up contacting Groupon and getting my money back. Anyone who is thinking about purchasing a Groupon for this place please think twice.

awesome massage for head and neck pain ----

Many therapists (and clients) like very deep, even painful massage but I have found that the best therapists do good, deep work but with techniques that do not cause pain and further tightening of muscles as the client reacts to the pain of such a massage. This therapist "gets it" - she did a wonderful job.

I purchased the package with a facial, massage, pedicure, and manicure. The esthetician offered me a sample and then charged me for it, the massage therapist would NOT touch my feet, the pedicure chair is outdated and uncomfortable, they sat a cheap walmart foot bath on top of a stool in front of the chair for the pedicure, the manicure was the worst I have ever had, there is no relaxation area, and rock/techno music was blasting over the stereo. That was the WORST spa experience that I have EVER had. I went there to relieve stress and left stressed out and in tears. It was a waste of 5 hours and $300.

I would like to make it clear that the massages at Qi Spa are amazing. Definitely come here if you want a hot stone massage, they are very relaxing and the staff definitely know what theyre doing in that department. However, they are easily one of the most unorganized places i have been to. I had scheduled a couples hot stone massage and a manicure and pedicure 10 days before valentines day for my girlfriend and I. I called two days before valentines day to confirm the reservation. at which point i was told that they had been meaning to call me to inform me that they had overbooked and could not accomodate us for that day. I understood that this happens sometimes, but they could not refund me so i rescheduled for a week later. This was inconvenient for us because she wanted to get her nails done for our date that night, so we called Joys Nails in NW and they were able to squeeze us in. I didnt need the manicure and pedicure for my gf anymore, so i decided to treat her mother to it. I called on friday (the appointment was for sunday) to confirm the reservation and to let them know that my gf and i would still be getting the hot stone massages and that her mother would be getting the manicure and pedicure. They told me that that is fine. We come in early on sunday and they let us know that they are running 15 minutes behind schedule. This annoyed me, but we decided to wait. We come back on time and the receptionist looks confused as to why there are three people there. I let her know that it was confirmed to me that they could accomodate us when i called on friday and she tells us that the employee who is doing the nails is running late. My gf and I go upstairs and get the hot stone massages, The massages were great. They guy who i had was very strong and i felt completely relaxed. He did a very good job and they were very polite. The atmosphere was great and the music was soft and relaxing. I couldnt even feel the time fly by. Once they were done, i went outside and asked my gfs mom how the manicure and pedicure was and she said that they were very rude and she felt that they were rushing her just because they had other clients coming in. I complained to the receptionist and she told me that although they could not refund me the money for the poorly done manicure and pedicure, they could give me a gift certificate for them that we could come back and use anytime. That was acceptable, so i took the gift certificate and left. Like I said, their massages are great and i would definitely recommend to anyone (despite how unorganized they are). However, if you do decide to schedule an appointment at Qi Spa I would advise you to call in a few days before to confirm your reservation.
