I came upon Athens Pool and Spa about 4 months ago while traveling to Athens. I found their facility to be extremely clean ,well stocked ,and the employees extremely knowledgable. They have absolutely everything you could possibly want for your backyard oasis.From what I am told this is the best pool company in Athens ,from in ground pool construction to service and repair they know their stuff,and Competitive pricing is a big plus.....

Terrible, Took six weeks to get it installed, the price changed everytime I talked to them. The installer they hired seemed to never be on the same page as everyone else. The installer took a chain saw and destroyed my exsiting deck with not care on how I was going to fix it later. The installer even had to borrow tools from us to work. I did not get the size pool I wanted or the liner I wanted, I should have walked away!!! Seems like as many years as these guys have been arround they would be a little more professional. I would not even take advantage of the free water testing there.

After doing research, I chose Athens Pool and Spa to install a new liner in my pool b/c I thought they were a nice family owned business. I also have given them thousands of dollars of business by buying pool chemicals and supplies from them. The new liner was installed and 5 months later, it began to come away from the walls of the pool. I had had nothing but pleasant encounters with them, but when I called, explained the problem and asked that someone come and look at it, they were very rude and said, and I quote, "If I want them to come look at it, I better take them to court." They have done nothing to help, refuse to stand by any of the warrantys they promised me, and finally I called someone else to help. I will end up paying over $1000 to repair it and the damage was caused by poor installation and a hole in the liner. I AM NOT THE FIRST PERSON WHO HAS A STORY LIKE THIS FROM THEM. It saddens me to have to say this, but I have no other voice in this matter. I seriously regret using Athens Pool and Spa every day and hope you heed my advice.

Very knowledgeable and courteous staff. It is a family owned business who really cares about their customers. I really like how they strive to offer items made by more local businesses. I think most of their hot tubs are made in Georgia or the Carolinas. Oh, and they carry Doughboy pools, which is the best above ground pool you can buy.

I am obviously using a pseudoname online. You know my case well and know how to get in contact with me if you were really interested in making things right. My liner is still completely messed up and you and your contractor, Keith C., have been completely unwilling to stand by your word or your work. My liner is now barely a year old, the problems began when it was 5 months old, and you have done nothing to help despite promising me that there were all sorts of guarantees and warantees that came with both the liner and the work of installing it. That is no way to run a business and people should know how you decided to treat your customer.
