Mark Codner, MD

This doctor does indeed have a quiet demeanor and can be very charming. A year after my surgery, the implants were almost at the sides of my chest. Dr. Codner said they looked fantastic and they fit my body type. I looked better before surgery! Went to another doctor to correct and found Dr. Codner put in larger implants than I requested. When I tried to contact his office about this, he was so arrogant and condescending, saying without skipping a beat that he did exactly what I asked and it was all my problem. Worse than the used car salesman stereotype. Do not get near this doctor.
From my first meeting with Dr. Codner I felt 100% confident. I became a patient 2 years ago when diagnosed with breast cancer. Following a double mastectomy, he performed my reconstruction & continues to follow me to this day. Not only was he empathetic in his care, his artistic skill in making me look & feel like a woman again was unbelievable! I thoroughly trust him as well as his kind & considerate staff members. I wish every breast cancer patient could experience the care I received from Dr. Mark Codner.
I have had three years to reflect on what happened in 2010 under Dr. Codners care. *From putting neomycin on my eyes and face after skin cancer surgery - the one and only thing I am allergic to resulting in loss of vision for two days (does not seem much but just imagine how SCARED I was) and his office dismissed my concern saying that I had an appointment in a couple of days that he would see me then! REALLY! I was there with in 2 hours. Dr. Codners only recourse was I am "sorry" . *To the big one...Rupturing an implant after a 10 hour double mastectomy surgery! Not only did he rupture an implant but he did something that made my breasts look like crushed up coke cans about four inches apart! Today, because of Dr. Joseph Woods, four additional surgeries to fix it, all is well :) NEVER ONCE has Dr. Codner called to apologize or even recognize what he did. In fact, when I went to his office in concern to how my breasts "looked" he downplayed it saying that it was a simple fix and not to worry. Thank goodness I went to Dr. Woods. A simple fix it was not!
It has been 1 week post op and I feel great. Had very little bruising and my breast implants look amazing. The new implants exceeded my expectations. They are beautiful. I barely have any pain and today started to resume my normal activities. If you are considering Dr. Codner for breast augmentation, look no further. He is an artist, a miracle worker and besides the gorgeous work he does, he was kind, empathetic and thoughtful and available to answer all my questions and concerns. I love him and his staff.
