Piedmont Ear, Nose, Throat & Related Allergy

This practice is a horrible rip off. After having you read through PAGES of documents (and pointing to the fact that you agreed to something you don't even know of) they charge you for an endoscopy of your nasal passages. The endoscope seems like a routine diagnostic practice which they refer to as a "procedure" and will last all of 20 seconds (or less actually) in each nostril. My final bill for the service was over $400! Please be careful about this sneaky practice. Dr. Coleman will certainly talk you over while you are in the room but this service is certainly not worth a half weeks paycheck. Doctor Coleman should be ashamed to charge people such an inflated cost for such a quick diagnostic tool- and I'm still unsure why he didn't just treat my symptoms prior to turning to such an expensive endoscope. At the very least they should explain while in the room what the "procedure" could possibly cost the patient!!! But he is likely just happy getting his $400 a pop and sending you on your way --- which in my case included a simple $10 noise spray to clear an allergy problem. I will never return and I will likely never visit an allergist again if this is the way the industry practices.
This is the most professional, well run, courteous doctors office I have ever been to. They quickly diagnosed my problem, treatment was efficient and worked and follow up has been awesome. My doctor was Dr Jarboe, he was very thorough, professional and courteous as was his staff.
First impressions are everything. When making my initial appointment with the office the person handling appointments was unprofessional. There were several condescending remarks made while making the appointment. The call left me very unsettled, I immediately call back to cancelled the appointment. I hope that no one else has to encounter this of treatment.
