My wife and I have used this place a couple of times in the past and enjoyed it. However, it was an absolute nightmare recently trying to use a Groupon gift received at Christmas from my Sister for a one hour foot reflexology for 2. First, I called the vendor number listed on the Groupon to schedule an appointment and I left my name and cell phone number, but NO call back after DAYS. Second, my wife sent an e-mail which also received NO response. We then DROVE to the vendor who refused to schedule us since the Groupon promotion requires that the original Groupon purchaser go online to schedule....that would be my Sister trying to schedule my wife and me....NUTS. I called Groupon who promptly scheduled us anyway since we had so much trouble with the vendor. By this time, although we scheduled the appointment during the promotional period, our appointment was scheduled for 5 days AFTER the expiration date. The Groupon Rep. advised "no problem". So, off we went for our 1 o'clock appointment on June 3rd. Upon arrival, we were refused service. I immediately called Groupon AGAIN while standing there at the front desk. A second and DIFFERENT Groupon Rep. confirmed that the first Rep. was correct in that our appointment should be honored since it was SCHEDULED BY GROUPON PRIOR to the expiration date. In my opinion, Groupon has been a class act in trying to resolve this nightmare. In contrast, Day Spa Nirvana has been petty, inconsistent, and not interested in honoring its obligations. My wife and I will NEVER return to Day Spa Nirvana under ANY circumstances. My Sister (who originally purchased the Christmas gift) and her fiancee, both regular customers of Day Spa Nirvana, will also never return. It would be my recommendation that anyone considering Day Spa Nirvana think long and hard before doing so. There are several other spas with similar services within a few mile radius. Thanks for reading about our experience.
