My father and I were making a quick trip through the area and reserved the twin room. We were very pleased with the location of the hotel and the condition of the room and common areas. The owner, Frank, was very helpful with recommendations and information about local restaurants, and quite accommodating for our early departure - coffee and continental breakfast were ready before the crack of dawn! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting and exploring the area, or just passing through and looking for a comfortable bed in a nice, clean, friendly hotel.

I will return again and again! This is the place for you if you want a experience that is slowed down... a place where you want to linger in the lobby and talk to other guests. It is just extra special that there is a Aveda spa right on site! Pampering is a must you need to take time out for. The staff is outstanding! The massages are Heavenly. If you want great service, unique rooms, and one on one interaction this is the place to stay! It is definitly not a generic chain hotel.

Tried to book a monthly massage and gave up after 3 times. They always had the wrong time or the wrong person. I was expected to accept someone other than I reserved - and wait for it. The quality also varried greatly. I felt they really didn't need my business even though they knew I wanted to return each month and I tipped well.
