I'm a guy with thick hair and several problematic cowlicks. I'd pretty much given up and resigned myself to mediocre haircuts with either a mushroom head look or cowlicks standing up making me look like Alfalfa from the Little Rascals. Kelly has completely opened my eyes to what a stylist can do. I thought it was a fluke the first time, but after several cuts I can attest that they have found a successful way to tame my unruly mess. It looked great in the salon, and it looks great the next day after being washed too (something that never seems to happen after I get my haircut.) I've always hated getting my haircut before, but now I completely trust Kelly with my hair.

I only come here for facials. The main floor of the salon is always dirty and hair is everywhere. When asked if they can clean it up the response was the stylists will get to it when they can....obviously not because they are all talking and relaxing.

Great people! Everyone there is very friendly and very accommodating! I recommend to anyone, female OR male.

I have been going to Alure for several years now and love it! My stylist, Renna, is great and she has been my stylist for 15 years! I regularly get my hair highlighted or colored and she always takes the time to educate me about the different products. I have recommended the salon to many of my friends and family.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I went there to get my hair "trimmed" and colored. First off, my hair is already very light blonde naturally. I just wanted it a tent lighter for my trip to Florida. I never ever EVER have to use bleach. EVER. Renna, the women doing my hair bleached it all up. Before my hair was very strong and healthy. She left the bleach in my hair for at least 50 minutes, completely destroying it. It was falling out in clumps! She claimed it looked great, she loved it. I hated it. I haven't been able to color my hair 6 months due to the damage this woman did to my hair. She was supposedly a level 3 stylist and has been in the business for 30 years, but anyone can look at my hair and tell that you don't have to use bleach on it. She made me wait for almost an hour with bleach in my hair so she could squeeze in another appointment during mine! SO RUDE! And the "trim" I wanted.. she didn't cut anything off my hair and still charged me the 50 bucks for it. In all I paid $160 for a wacked up hair job that is still getting worst. The bleach she used in my hair is now turning yellow. Never ever will I come here again.
