After hearing a couple of recommendations from acquaintances about Mickey's, I had my first haircut there today. I called yesterday and was able to get in within 24 hours. Upon arrival, no wait time --Tyler was right on schedule and took me back for a great haircut. He listened to what I told him I was looking for and provided suggestions for specific questions he had for me where I didn't know and wanted his opinion. The reception and check-out area were staffed with smiling and professional staff who obviously made an effort to remember my first name. The shop was very attractive and neat. Busy but well maintained. Clients and staff alike all seemed happy --always a good sign. Pleasantly surprised at the value when checking out. Very reasonably-priced men's haircut at an upscale salon. I've lived in Lexington for two years now and always either went home to get my hair done which is 6 hours away or I never liked anywhere enough to go back. This is not the case with Mickey salon and spa. First when you walk in you see the salon is gorgeous and more importantly clean. The staff are all very kind and polite and make you feel comfortable. Smiles all around!! The first time I went in I went for a haircut. With the combination of three different places not cutting it the way I wanted I was a little nervous but mickey made my hair perfect. Today I went in because I had orange hair from trying a box color. They got me in within 24 hours and Ashley not only fixed a disaster but I love it more then I could have imagined. Do yourself a favor and do not go anywhere other then mickey salon and spa!!!

Professionalism and class are what this salon/spa is about and words cannot express how good it is! It truly oozes positive energy the second you walk in the door, and every person I encountered- either via phone, email, or in person- was very friendly and customer-service oriented, but also genuine and down-to-earth. You can definitely tell they work as a team and enjoy their jobs, plus they really value and spoil their customers. Mickey's is a place for those who want luxury, and they deliver it without being the least bit pretentious. They are not inexpensive, but they are worth every penny!!! The facility is also beautiful and in a very peaceful location. I recommend them to anyone, and I normally am not one to give rave reviews!

This place REALLY knows what their customer's want and caters to each and every want/need you have. By far, the friendliest and most knowledgable group of people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in a business. All that, AND the salon and spa are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!
