I love Splendid Skin. My only regret is that I can't visit them more often. The staff at Splendid are so accommodating and I've always had success with my treatments - laser skin treatments, injections and recommendations of skin care products. I purchased a Groupon for Ultimate Lipo on one large area. I am 5'3" and 145lbs. I've got some belly fat and love handles that I really hate. I couldn't find any reviews on this sort of liposuction online, so I decided to take the plunge and try it out. I encountered 3 women who worked there and during my visits and each time I asked, none of them would say that the Ultimate Lipo actually worked. One woman who worked there actually told me that she did not think it worked. Essentially, you go in and they rub this hot wand over the areas you want slimmed down. They do this for about 45 minutes and then afterward, you are instructed to drink room temp. water, nothing cold, to keep your core temperature up. You are instructed to exercise the day of your treatment and at least 2 other days of the week and get your heart rate up when exercising, and obviously you should watch your eating habits. I did all of this and saw no results in my 2 visits. There are 5 visits total, and honestly, I just do not see how this could actually work, even if I had finished it. I believe it was a complete waste of my time, money, and gas to drive out there. I truly believe it is a joke and a rip off. I just want to share my experience so that no one else will waste their money. Now I know that an employee is likely to get on here and say, you have to finish the treatments, but seriously, I should have seen something after the first few weeks. I called and cancelled the remainder of my appointments and requested a refund. I was told that I would have to speak to the office manger and she was not in. I requested that she call me when she came in to discuss a refund. No one ever called me back and I lost $599 on a complete joke, and waste of time. DO NOT waste your money on this.

I purchased a Groupon to here, gave it a try, but won't be going back because I was mortified during my third visit. My first hair removal session was fine, except I noticed some hair on the cloth covering the treatment chair, which made me wonder if they change it between clients. The second visit, I noticed the staff member was touching the tip of the bottle that administers the gel they put on the treatment area to my skin. I wondered if it was sanitized between clients. The third visit was what really made me question the sanitation here. I was given an ice gel pack to put on my bikini line before treatment. When it was treatment time, the staff member took it back and put it directly back into the refrigerator! It didn't have a towel or casing around it. I felt sick thinking "how many bikini lines has that ice pack been on?!"
