I was so excited when Genesis opened because it was so close to home! I went to a few different stylists, and had 3 bad experiences. Once, when getting a brow wax, some of the skin on my one lid was ripped off.....talk about painful. Didn't complain, but she probably had to know that she pulled a layer of skin off! My daughter went in to have her brows done, and they removed part of the eyebrow!! How embarrassing it was for her1 Went for a haircut and highlights one morning, and my stylist was the only one in the place. She had to keep leaving me to answer the phone. I was in there 2 1/2 hours. Then, I had a haircut and came home and after washing it, it was cut crooked, so I went back for them to fix it, and it was shorter and still crooked. Some of the above review that I've read above seem to have been written by friends of the owners or some of the stylists. Ended up going back to my old stylist. Driving the extra miles is worth it when you have a stylist who knows what they're doing. It has since closed. If you're looking for a great salon with a very professional and fun staff, go to Cloud 9! They are awesome!

The staff is aways super nice, even when they have to turn walk-ins away because they are short staffed. My boyfriend bought me a spa package of Swedish massage, pedicure, hair, facial, and manicure. My first visit I was unable to get the facial, so when I rescheduled I also asked for brow waxing and hair trim again. Jennifer was awesome, knew what I wanted and did exactly that! Plan on taking my daughter to see Angie for the bright rainbow coloring! These ladies are always professional, caring, and gentle. I recommend them to all I know!! Call ahead for an appointment, and you will love your treatment! Please remember to tip you stylist, massage technician, colorist!

Wow, I have been in that salon several times since it opened and only two stylist have left, one because she was having a baby and the other because she moved out of state. For those to write such intrusive things must really be a very unhappy person to go to such lenghts! I think the salon is really reasonable and everyone is very friendly always offering me something to drink. I think it is a wonderful place to go! I guess there is something to be said about some people no matter what you do they will just never be happy! Happy Halloween!

WHAT A GREAT NEW SALON! I PURCHASED A FULL DAY OF PAMPERING FOR MY WIFE AND WHAT AN EXCEPTIONAL STAFF THEY ARE! THEY TREATED MY WIFE LIKE A QUEEN! WALTON IS LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH A PLACE! THANKS GENESIS FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF US WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!!!!

After 2 years in Kentucky , I've found my happy hair salon. What a fabulous staff . My colorist is exeptional. I was flying back and forth to California to my old stylist and now I can breeze down the road for the perfect salon tune up. It is so reasuring to be able to trust the people who care for your hair. There is nothing more sacred! My neighbor refreded me and I can't say enough about the salon.
