I really wish I had read the previous reviews before purchasing this Groupon. I bought a 60 minute massage and 30 foot rub for $50 (originally listed as $120). My first experience was when I called and a male employee answered the phone. I told him I would like to make an appointment for the next week. He said that he had an 11 o'clock appointment available. Perfect. Then he asked if I had a "Groupon, right?" (this should have been my first sign). He never asked my name but just wanted my number. He said, "okay, we will see you at 12". And I reminded him he said 11. Hmmm.... Day of massage, a female called me a half hour before my appointment to ask me if I wanted to come in now. I told her my appointment was for 11 and she kept asking me if I wanted to come in now. I conceded and finishing getting ready which only got me there 10:50 am. The outside door was open and on a hot and very humid summer day. No one was up front. The female employee appeared a couple of minutes later. She asked for my Groupon number and proceeded to tell me it didn't include tax. No problem, it was only $4. I told her I could do it now or after the massage. Upon walking into the back room, I was shocked that their prices are so high for the lack of spa appearance. It was a huge room with curtain areas. I was put in the first room and asked to strip down to underwear. The 'curtain door' didn't cover the open space. Anyone walking by could see me changing. I am not much of a shy person but I figure I would at least have some privacy. The massage and foot rub was good. But everything else stole away from this experience. I could hear the traffic on the street since the door was open. My female masseuse left the 'room' and left the curtain door open to talk to the male employee (the one originally on phone). When she returned I didn't her the curtain go back. So now all I am thinking of is 'did she leave that open? who is walking by and can they see me?' And when she left the room again, I looked up to see the curtain open. You can hear the curtain open/close. Noting later she did close it. The talking between the two employees didn't stop. I don't think they went more than 3 minutes without talking to each other or on the phone. And it was in a different language so I had no idea what they were saying. If they weren't talking to each other then the male employee was on the phone. Not just answering more Groupon appointments but possible personal calls (in a foreign language). It gets better! During the first half hour of massage another client comes in. And the male employee sets her up. You can hear everything that goes in the building. He goes in to do the massage and the individual informs him she requested a female to do her massage, which is her right! He replys "Oh my god!" and seemed annoyed. And when my female masseuse finishes the massage, he comes in to do my foot rub. I don't mind male or female but they didn't ask if I was okay with the switch in advance and didn't communicate what they were going to do. And he only took one phone call during my foot rub. I was unable to relax during the entire time with all the talking and not knowing if the curtain was shut or not. They finally shut the outside door and turned on the air conditioner in the last 30 minutes. I checked the time when the massage was done and it was 12:20. And I walked into the building at 10:50. But I had to wait for the female employee to come to the front, I had to give her my Groupon code, and change before they could even start the 90 minute massage. Hmmmm....just doesn't add up. I learned my lesson. You get what you pay for and I should read the reviews on companies. If you already paid for your Groupon, use it before the promotional value expires. if you haven't paid for a Groupon, don't sign up for this one. There are tons of places in Bay Ridge to get a massage for this quality at a cheaper price and don't label themselves as a 'spa'.

been here 3 times and all 3 experiences were great. awesome staff, very accommodating and massages are amazing.
