I like this place. People are very nice and it feels like you are at peace when you are in the lounge before the massage. Ive been here at least five times and every experience is new. Some experiences are great while others are okay. You have to find a therapist that is great and stick with that one. I've only had one negative experience here but its not enough to keep me away. Plus I love how every product they use is organic. There should be more places like this.
When you make an appointment with this place for a "massage" MAKE SURE they know what you are asking/paying for when you call, when you get there, and when you meet your "massage therapist"....and then double check with all of them all over again. I went in assuming I was getting a full body 1 hour massage and ended up with a Reiki Therapy session advertised as a massage on Groupon. Reiki is spiritual therapy without touching so imagine how annoyed I was when NOTHING was being done. Finally after asking if there is an actual massage at all, I'm told no, but proceeds to give me an attempted back massage while then explaining to me how he is actually an acupuncturist, not a massage therapist and asks continuously how he was doing, considering. SO disappointed and annoyed. And to think, the regular price for this Reiki therapy is valued at $95. You have to be out of your mind to even think to waste your time on such nonsense.
The Green Spa ROCKS - they are the most accomadating, nice and professional people in the business. They know how to treat loyal customers and the services are always TOP OF THE LINE. My wife and I were in Saturday for massage & facial and they were both fantastic. They have no less then 5 amazing massage therapists so you know you are always going to have a great experience.
I made an appointment for an eyebrow wax at 11:30a. I arrived a few minutes early, was acknowledged, and then after waiting 30 minutes, I walked out. When making the appointment, the coordinator mentioned that if I was late or a no-show, they would charge me an additional fee on my next visit. With so many salons and spas to visit in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, The Green Spa should have better service.
