Went back for the second time last week, and once again, I can't say enough great things about their staff and the services they provide! If you're looking to get pampered, this is the place! Their salon is super clean and stylish! You definitely don't feel like you're in Toledo, Ohio. It definitely has big city appeal! I look forward to going back soon!
In the five years of getting my nails done I have never been so unsatisfied with a service. It was my first time here and I will never go back and I will warn others NEVER get your nails done here. I’ll start off with the appointment fiasco I went through. First they scheduled my appointment wrong, and they figured this out last minute and I had to reschedule everything in my busy schedule to work around the new time because I was desperate to have my nails done before my birthday and my trip to LA. After the $80 bill for just one full set of acrylics and polish, I was expecting a little more. Normally, I play sports and go to the gym often so my nails last me about three weeks before chipping, denting, and occasionally breaking (I pay around $45 for the set and polish which can last around 3-5 weeks). But in this case the most strenuous activity I did was take a shower and I broke off two nails in the first day! By the third day, my nails looked completely wrecked. Chipped and dented, the polish was lack-luster, I couldn't believe it. All I had done was go to work and shower. I was desperate to have them fixed but they could not get me in before my trip, so I had to go to LA for my birthday with nails that looked like a fourth grader did them. I had called and they said they would fix them for me since I was in the 7 day window. Then I went back in to have my nails half-assed fixed and to my horror, I was charged another $25 for the fix. Thank you for the $100 nails. I will probably be needing to make an appointment else where by the end of the week to fix this disaster.
I will not be returning to beauty bar! I called about pedis for myself and my friend, I was told the express pedicure was just toes for $22 and the full pedicure was $38. I chose the full for both of us.It was the most rushed "full" pedicure I have ever paid for. We were in and out in 25 mins. Not worth the money I spent at all. On top of the fact that the pedicures were so rushed, the girls were not friendly or talkative at all. This was our first time at this salon and we did not feel welcome, or that our business was appreciated. 10 days later and most of my polish is off already. If you're looking for a relaxing experience in a warm friendly environment- don't go here!
I LOVE going here! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The ladies absolutely know what they are doing! I will never go anywhere else because they are just so consistent! The girl I go to is named Kimberly Olejownik! Go see her! She is amazing! Everytime I walk out I look amazing! She is a Miracle worker!
followed my esthetician to Beauty Bar from another location and am so glad I did, I love it there - have had several facials @ BB and will continue to patronize them. The spa area has a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The spa room is quiet, perfect temperature (plus heated table), low lighting, low background music that adds to the ambience. Service is great - they offer guidance and suggestions on products, but are not overly pushy. I especialy like the fact that they sample their skin care products so I can try them out before buying. Am hoping to treat myself to hot stone massage and/or the shirodhara in the not too distant future.
