Let's start with the fact I came with a friend who recommended this place. She sat next to me for a 20 minute foot massage. I was ignored for 1/2 of her massage (10 minutes). I selected the basic pedi for 27.00 which supposedly includes a 10 minute massage if you read the language on their menu. I was charged 10.00 for the massage, which was luxurious...I listened to her talk to all of her friends in Vietnamese, get up and randomly leave, got a lackluster pressure massage and for the highlight....she rubbed one of my shoulders. Not both...just one and then disappeared again. Cheater with poor work ethic...Even her nail polish was sloppy.
I love this place! I even got Vietnamese coffee while the gave me a manacure. you feel special every vist!
My daughter and I recently visited for combo mani/pedis. The front desk was very welcoming. We were shown to our chairs and 2 employees came quickly. Unfortunately they did not speak or understand English. If fact it appeared that hardly anyone there did. I was unable to give any direction as to specific needs without 2 or 3 people having to find someone to come over to talk with us. The employee who was taking care of my daughter was on her cell phone most of the time. We were asked if we would like a soda and we said yes please. No one ever brought one. They weren't that busy but seemed to be in a rush. Three coats of polish without ANY drying time. Very squishy and soft and buy the time we got to the car several of my finger nails were ruined just by accidentally touching them and so were my daughters toes. We will not be going back!
I was very unhappy with my experience here. I usually do not write reviews, but wanted to save other people time and money. Management was so rude and inconsiderate of people waiting. The place wasn't super clean, and the man doing nails took out the trash and didn't wash his hands. Several customers had 5-6 people doing their nails, they kept getting up and leaving. It took them two hours to get a pedicure, and were moderately busy. It was a waste of time and money. I hope they can get better people on their staff who care about the customer's experience. Very unfortunate.
I have been going here for the past 5 years off and on and I have to say that I have ALWAYS had wonderful service. Even if it has been a couple of months since I have been there, they always remember my name. I usually get a 30 min massage after my mani-pedi which is included in the cost of the manicure. I think their prices are the same as everywhere else, but a massage while your nails are drying being included in the cost is what keeps me coming back. I usually remember this when I include a tip. I'm pretty sure this is why I always get great service. I even drive from Mid-town which says a lot since I rarely leave my comfy 5 mile radius :)
