Rose has cut my hair since I was in college, now almost 10 years later she cuts my husbands and my sons. The salon is great! The people are great and always give excellent quality of service.

We had a small birthday gathering, it was very nice and we were all pleased. I do agree with other reviews that the inside could use a little face lift, more of a spa / soothing feel would be nice . The ladies that did our pedi's were very professional and personable. We will Definetly be back .

I, too, am shocked by the negative reviews posted about Ambridge Rose Spa. It seems someone has a "grudge." Let me tell you - I live out-of-state, but I always plan my trips to Erie (to visit my daughter) around the time that I need to get my haircut, because I don't want ANYONE ELSE cutting my hair except Jen at Ambridge Rose Spa!!! I've had hundreds of haircuts over the years, but no one has done the high-quality job that Jen does. And the price is certainly not outrageous.

I am shocked by the few reviews I've read which are all bad and NOT TRUE. It appears someone has a personal issue with someone or the owner which I would consider slander if I were them. I tried trendy salons and spas to pamper myself VERY occasionaly in the past. I never left feeling it was worth it. Coventina is probably the nicest place and most relaxing atmosphere but who could afford to go there regularly. I would reserve them for a really great gift or to pamper myslef there no more than once a year. But if you are looking for a a nice local business that has a great staff and quality products and services, I would go to Ambridge Rose Spa. It's more affordable and accessible than Coventina. And if you are looking for a place that you can go to regularly and bring the kids for haircuts too, they do a great job. I've met the owners just by being a customer and they are lovely, friendly, down to earth people. I feel very comfortable there and I am not a diva in any way. It's a nice, professional business. I prefer the chineese ladies to get my nails done, lol, but that's just my preference. But for hair, go to Ambridge Rose.
