I have been to Zen a few diffent times. Both times I had good experiences. The gel manicure includes a parafin wax treatment and they use hot stones with their pedicures.
My first (and probably last experience) at Zen was mostly okay: nice pedicure chairs, TVs, friendly staff, clean, yada yada yada. I came in with a coupon for a $30 mani-pedi (I do like coupons!), but when I went to pay, the lady charged me $40 because apparently the kind of gel polish she suggested I try was $10 extra . She claimed she told me this in advance, but I'm pretty sure I would remember and promptly reject such an offer (she had me under the impression it was included with the coupon, as I asked about it a few times). So my coupon ended up being useless AND the gel polish on my thumb nail peeled right off 3 hours later (and AGAIN 1 day later, after going back to get it redone... then 2 days later, it started peeling off the rest of my nails). I'm sure some people have no problem with this place (IF you don't mind the staff speaking their native language in front of you. I don't mind this but I know many people do), but I personally felt a little cheated due to my salon worker's selective wording. And they clearly didn't do a very good job if the polish peels off 3 hours/days later. I say visit with caution. Good luck!
I love Zen! They do amazing work and my nails aways look great! And I think their prices are very reasonable.
Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere
