If I could give this place zero stars for their manicures... I would. The person who did my nails didn't listen to any of my requests. I asked for a gel refill with acrylics and gel polish. All she did was file off the polish manually with a file, which took over 40 minutes to do... not to mention she cut my finger because she was filing so rough and didn't apologize. She didn't even do the gel overlay like you normally would for acrylics and just put the polish on top of the rough nail that she didn't smooth down. When I asked for gel, she showed me vinylux polish, which is just like a gel polish that you just air dry...this was definitely not what I asked for. When the polish dried, it was all rough and bumpy and she said, "Oh that looks so nice! The color is beautiful!" Yes the color was pretty, but the manicure was complete crap. When my mom called and made the appointment, the receptionist said it would be $35 with a 15% student discount. When they were ringing us up when I was done, they charged us $40!! If I could add a picture to show how bad it was, I would. My mom called back about an hour later and asked that we get our money back, and we did. However, when my mom went to pick up the money in an envelope from the salon, the receptionist was extremely rude to her. Before my mom could even say anything, she said, "Oh... you're the one who's here to pick up the money." and when my mom went to leave she said, "Thank you, have a nice day!", the receptionist was very rude and didn't say anything. I went back to my nail place I usually go to and will NEVER go back to Freestyle Salon. If you really care about your nails and how they look, never go here to get them done.

Donna did an excellent job creating a base blonde color over my brassy dyed blonde hair, along with highlights. I can definitely recommended this salon and have to many of my friends!

Daryl is a great and experienced hairstylist if you're looking for a good cut and color! I only go see him for my hair as well as many of my family members! I definitely recommend him!

I fail to understand the negative remarks. My hubby and I both get our hair cut here. We are both happy with the hair cuts and the service. It is easy to find and easy to park. We are never kept waiting and it is fairly easy to get an appointment within a few days of calling (sometimes the same day).

Having gone to many Salons in the newtown area with ok results, I called Freestyle and they put me in with Donna. It took a few days to get an appt with her but it was well worth the wait. Donna put me at ease explaining the color process to me. Her easygoing confidence made me feel right at home and the results were fabulous. Thanks again Donna!
