Look at the stylist slip...make sure you agree with the charge before you pay. And don't leave your teenager with the stylist to decide what you end up paying for unless you give them permission! For $90 my daughter had a dry hair cut and had 10 minutes with curling iron. She was in the chair for 25 minutes total.....we scheduled her for an hour for a wash, blowout and styling. Rushed job. Very unhappy with results. When I called later to complain I was quickly transferred by first attendant and then a 2nd argued that my daughter got what we paid for. I posted on FB and recieved notification almost immediately that my satisfaction was important and I would be contacted. That was 3 days ago...no contact yet.

Youll find a high level of pampered service here at Alexander's. I've had just a cut, but had a fantastic experience, including many compliments on my cut. The wash was a real treat, the luxirious experience you expect for a paid shampoo. I'll definitely be coming back... when I can afford it. I was in and out fast, definitely musts on my hair styling checkist.

Go to Adrienne for a mani/pedi. She's the best!

Started going to Alexanders in 2011, Had a hair weave put in, the woman who did it was very very nice. I get Brazillian waxes there, and it is done wonderfully, it almost doesnt hurt... almost. Massages and facials are also wonderful, overall experience is an A! the only fault i can find is that it is quite expensive, but sometimes, its worth it for the quality!

I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars at this salon not only in the Scranton location, but also the Wilkes location. I've had cut and dyes, pedicures, waxes but mostly gel manicures. Usually they're consistent and always awesome but I received a gel manicure and it peeled off the day after. I called in and asked for them to re-do it and they said they'll have a manager call me same-day or the following day. It's the third day and I have received no call back. It seems as if now I have to find a company that cares about customers who give them 500+ dollars in business, it's such a shame that they don't care.
