The massage therapists at this particular location are excellent beyond belief. They listen and respond to your specific needs, however me and my wife will not be needing their services any longer. We went on a vacation for the fall and winter, and when we returned it was brought to our attention that the 8 pre-paids we had accumulated we inactive. It was beyond our belief that you could lose massages that had already been paid for. This action is unfair and disconcerting beyond belief. How does one lose massages that they have already paid for in advance. At one point in time me and my wife were considering opening a massage envy, but however with further and thorough research we decided against it for the reasons that they do not treat their employees with regard and massage envy seems to be a greedy company that primarily concerns itself with monetary value. We will not be seeking the services of this company again, however their therapists are very good and are undervalued for the services they provide. Be careful when you commit to a contract with this company, because money is all they care about and a lack of concern for their employees. This company is a serious joke with a lack of concern for its members and its employees.

I don't know about other Massage Envy locations but I had a disappointing experience at the Grand Dunes Myrtle Beach location which left me regretting ever having signed up with this company. It's safe to say that I will never use them or recommend their services to anyone. Most of the front desk staff with the exception of maybe one or two individuals were incompetent and had major attitude. I truly believe they are not trained properly and they just don't care. I also noticed a high turnover rate with the front desk/massage/aesthetic staff. A lot of staff came and went while I was a member there and I couldn't keep up with names. Also, they sure do care about you as a customer as long as you don't decide to cancel. Once that happens all bets are off. I would also like to point out that the manager wasn’t very professional and I don’t think that customer service is her strong point. Basically I was cheated out of two prepaid sessions that they would not honor because I had canceled my membership and when I went to redeem them before my membership "expired" they claimed that I let too much time go by when in reality I had not. Beware before going to this location and make sure you read the fine print before you sign any contracts because understanding a ME contract can be somewhat confusing and you can’t always rely on their staff to inform you accurately about their policies. Last but not least always right down who you've spoken to (dates, time of day, etc.) just incase a problem arises with your membership.

I had a very insistence workout, so next day I could barely move. Somehow I came over the Massage Envy website and I couldn't pass that $49 hour massage deal... Keep in mind, that Google maps doesn't show the correct location. It's not on 82th, it is located on 17, between Indo Shusi and Lowes Foods. I went in and was greeted by very nice ladies. I filled the paperwork quickly and was introduced to my therapist - Amber, in no time. She was very polite,and very good looking.. but... she is about 107 lb... How such small girl can make a deep tissue massage to a guy like me - 200 lb?.. She is not strong enough!!! And I was WRONG... Not just her hands are very strong, but her technique is great and best of all she could fell the muscle tension. Without asking a word she hunted these muscles down and took the pain away! I paid for an hour session, but I got about 10 minutes extra, because she wanted to get the job done completely (never asked to pay extra for it). My only regret is - I had to go with 90 minutes session... Well.. Next time!!!

I do not recommend the Massage Envy in Myrtle Beach Dunes. Will definitely not be going back. I've been to other Massage Envy locations that were a lot better.

I have been to other spas before but never have I felt so welcome and safe. The environment is clean and very professional. The massage was excellent the therapist was concerned with meeting my needs and adjusting the pressure to exactly what I needed. I also had a Murad facial and my skin was glowing when I left. Loved it would go back again any day!
