Finally, a truly relaxing facial!! I have acne-prone, sensitive, dehydrated and rosacea-affected skin, and Elizabeth took great care of it. The most amazing part is that the whole process felt great! I've had facials before, but they have never been pleasant experiences - (hot, sticky, stingy with high sales pressure for facial care products). None of that with Elizabeth, and her facial was by far the best I have ever had. The products she used were fantastic, she explained what she was doing without making me feel obligated to buy. She also taught me how to better care for my skin at home, which has made a huge difference in my daily life. On top of everything, I recieved THE BEST shoulder and hand massage as part of the treatment. Heavenly! I wish every spa was like Illumina, and I recommend it without hesitation.

I went to Illumina Spa hoping to have my aching back massaged and relaxed. I have had muscle pain between my shoulder blades for the past ten plus years. Everything I have done to try and alleviate it has been only a very temporary solution or requires taking medication, which I am not fond of doing. After telling Elizabeth about my condition she recommended I try a cranio sacral treatment along with my usual tissue massage. She explained what it entailed (much too technical for me to replicate here) and began. At first it seemed like nothing was happening, but as she worked her magic, I felt my entire back open up and relax. It were as if she were untying knots along my spine releasing the pressure. She finished with a light relaxing massage of my shoulder area and then gave me some fresh brewed tea to enjoy afterward. Since my treatment I have had no recurrences of that intense pain I used to feel regularly. Sure I still have muscle cramps and aches (don't we all) but I am amazed at how perfect her treatment was for my needs. Needless to say I am a regular now!

I was given a gift certificate to Illumina Spa by my son for Mothers Day. I have had "massages" in the past, which were very generic. Elizabeth made my neck pain disappear after 24 years! The cranio sacral treatment was AWSOME!! She was amazing from start to finish. I can't wait for my next appointment. Who needs doctors when you have Elizabeth! Thanks for everything!
