Does not deserve a single star! Absolute horrid experience. The staff is rude and unaccommodating. They seem to struggle with building a rapport with customers, returning calls, or just answering the phones in general. I was given a gift card, purchased for me to use on my day off which is Monday because the website shows the Odessa location to be open on Mondays from 9-6. Apparently that is no longer the case but with all the mark up and over charge they have in their services and products they are unable to hire a professional to maintain the website or the facebook page to address the growing number of customer complaints. The ladies are rude. When I made the salon aware that I was upset they wouldn't even make an attempt to contact me to resolve the issue. At first I just wanted to use my gift card, I offered to pay more. After i got told they absolutely would not work around my schedule i requested that i get a refund since the hours and days were wrong online. I was told by the Midland location (Monica) that was NOT an option. She refused to make any sort of compromise to settle the dispute. I refuse to do business with a place like this and I will make sure to tell every single client that i have as well as every single friend and family member i come across. Joe James should be ashamed to have his name, reputation and family associated with service like this!!!!!!

I never knew how much I'd miss Joe James Salon and Melinda cutting my hair till I moved. After my first haircut in a new place, I long for the professionalism, skill, and attention to detail I found here. Appreciate it people!

It's unfortunate to read these bad reviews because this is nothing like the salon I know! Joe James is a wonderful man and works hard to take care of everyone that comes in! Beautiful salons and great people, expect to be pampered :)

Joe James Salon & Day Spa is amazing! The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful! Any time I'm at the salon, weather it be for a spa treatment or hair appointment, I always leave extremely happy! I highly recommend both the Midland & the Odessa salon! Hands down the best salon & day spa in the area!!
