I have been a member her for over 4 years. I can say that I have never had a bad massage and I am always open to going to different therapists. I do wish it was a true one hour massage but from the time I go into the rooms, undress, get the massage, and redress it is about 50 minutes each time. The facials are good too. This is definitely a place you go for a 'bargain' massage but everyone I have dealt with is very kind. The one problem is that they book up so quickly. I usually will sneak in for a 30 min (really 20 minute) massage just to get in when I need it. If you are a making appointments and can in advance do it so you know you have time you like with a person you like.
I had a facial and massage scheduled. When I arrived I was informed that they would have to reschedule my massage because the lady was running behind. In order to "make up for it" they said they would give me an hour and a half massage. I was definitely okay with that even though it's very hard to get an appointment here. I was in and out of my massage in less than 50 minutes (that included getting undressed, my massage and dressing again). When I notified the manager she told me she couldn't do anything about it and she would talk to the lady who did my massage. Not only did they not inform me before hand to see if I wanted to reschedule, they told me they were going to give me extra time and shorted me, and then the manager clearly has no customer service experience. I've never had a horrible enough experience that made me never want to go back until I came to this place.
Every time I call this place EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE is so rude. It seems like anything I ask for they are booked for a month or the facial lady is on vacation every weekend. No one cares to even help assist in anyway possible. I work 8-5 and of course nothing is available after as usual. They are so short staffed and I am glad I am no longer a member. I have giftcards that I need to use and I almost just want to give them away to avoid this place........STAY AWAY...
Called in at 8am to book appointment for my daughter (it was her birthday). They had 3 appointments available. I told the lady I'd call right back and let her know which one. When i called back a few minutes later, I received the voice message system. I left the message stating my name and number, her name, and appointment time. Asked them to please call me back that that had received message. 45 min later they had not called back, so I called again. This time a man said that appointment was booked and that they were "having trouble with their voice mail". Anyway I'm not happy and going somewhere else.....
Have been a Message Envy member for 7 years now, my membership is in Arizona, we travel a lot due to my husbands job. The front staff was awsome, very friendly, facility is very clean, professional. HOWEVER...when I pay for an hour in a half message I expect to get at least an hour and twenty minutes! NOT and hour and 10 minutes...informed the front desk and no one seamed to want to do anything about it. What really sucks is the message was AWSOME...just don't think I'll go back because after a message you don't want stress!!! We watch the clock too! Oh and I do go to an awsome Spa in Florida if anyone is interested The Spa at The Riverview Hotel in New Smyrna Beach Florida...you will NEVER experience anything quite like this spa!!!! The best I have ever been to and I have been going there 18 years now. It is expensive...but...you get what you pay for!!!
