Sitting there for two and a half hours as a walkin I was pretty stoked about what the outcome of a color and cut would be after growing my hair out for over a year...Be talked herself up big...I do this and I do that... She cut three, maybe four ppls hair and did six brow waxings while coloring was happening, multitasking no problem...so I thought. Washed out and the cutting began she told me the highlights didn't take and she wasn't happy with them...also had to ask her to correct the length in the back so the whole hairdo would look right...she said I wanted to keep the length but I guess she forgot I gave her the go ahead to use her discretion with the cut since everything was gonna be "new"...and I trusted her. well she hands me a bill for 205. dollars. yes that's right 205.00 she charged full price for highlights that she herself said didn't take...95$...I challenged it and she dropped it down to 65$...I called back the next morning and asked for a fix of the color iI paid for and to correct the cut a little as it is very obviously a bad chopped up haircut...uneven around the face...she didn't return my call. made no effort to respond..I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED..I had high hopes of finding the right person to do my hair..I know so many ppl I could have referred to her had it not been a wallet breaking experience...My daughter said" that's alot of groceries on your head there mom" yep 205 dollars is two weeks groceries....

I actually know Auntie Be personally - I grew up with her daughter throughout high school, and my first experience with her was an Up-Do she did for me and my friends (including her daughter) for our Freshman Dance, and she made me look amazing! Actually, she always makes me look amazing - but maybe it's because she is an Asian woman and she might specialize in Asian hair, but let me tell you - I ONLY go to my auntie Be for ALL my hair needs! Her prices are pretty standard, if not cheaper than most high end beauty salons, not to mention now that she's moved out of her house and into a shop - she now has help to do eye brow waxing and nails - I had my eye brows down and they did a great job, also Be is HIGHLY experienced, she's been in business for a long time, I've been going to her for about 8 years now, and I WON'T go to anyone else, because after having her... everyone else just does my hair wrong in comparison - so I DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone who has ever had a bad hair experience where the stylist didn't listen to you - Be is different, she actually listens and also makes amazing suggestions if you're looking to change you're look - needless to say, she really is THE BEST!
