Love this place. I never feel rushed and the technicians are very friendly
The person who did the treatment was lovely and the treatments themselves were divine. I had a full 2 hour body spa which included foot massage, scalp & face massage, body scrub and wrap and full body massage. My only criticism is of the venue itself. The chair I was sitting in for the foot massage was hard plastic and just not comfortable at all. The robe which was left in the treatment room for me to wear was too small, so I had to wear a towel (not a big problem, except for my ego LOL). The room was not soundproof, so sounds of chatting, laughing, doors closing etc stopped me from just enjoying the ambient music and letting my thoughts drift away. The hot water in my treatment room wasn't working, so I had to use the shower in another room. The shower had not been cleaned after the person before me, the floor was muddy and the walls dirty. Tealight candles, which were used to great effect throughout the facility, had been left to go out, which made it look a bit sad. All little things I know, but when you are paying top $$ to have a spa treatment, these things add up to spoil the atmosphere. It just felt like the only person who cared was the lady who did the treatment. The staff who are supposed to maintain / clean the rooms are really letting this venue down. I would recommend travelling to somewhere like Daylesford where there is a higher standard simply because there is more competition.
The moment you pass the threshold you feel your shoulders dropping & your muscles start to release. Any treatment in this spa is an experience. The prices are brilliant too. Save yourself a trip to Daylesford - these guys are better.
