Revita Medispa
Reviews
I recently had a procedure completed at Revita Medispa and was overcharged. I later requested that they reimburse me the amount I was overcharged and they refused. I was following the pricing on their website and they would not honour it, they acknowledged via email that the website pricing had not been updated but insisted they would not provide a reimbursement for any kind. They also charge a $50 consult fee which is waived if you have a procedure done, but the consult didn't even include any detailed analysis of my skin. My skin wasn't looked at at all, only 1 or 2 questions were asked of me and no follow up paperwork was given to me on how to care for my skin after the procedure or what to expect. In hindsight I should not have proceeded with the appointment. It took them two days to get back to me when I had questions about what to expect after the procedure. Very poor customer service and not proper business protocol to advertise one price and then charge another.
The place is nice but I think this is really a con artist trying to do medical treatment. I went for my appointment for consultation and was charged $50 which can be used towards future treatment. The owner took me to a room that has dim lighting. She did not look at my skin and recommend and laser regimen for $2,000, and claimed it can 'cure' anything on my skin, thus my condition/concern is not important. She didn't do skin analysis at all (never touched my face). She sent me home with brochures to read. I went to the website and it says first consultation is free so I have to call back to get my money refunded. She gladly did it. If you read very closely, she is a beautician who went to a local college here in London. I don't know if I would let someone do laser on my face without a higher credential. Her receipt has three doctors name as if the doctors are a part of the practice, read her website carefully, it is only her and the receptionist (who did not look happy to me). Other spa has a dermatologist on staff and did not charge for a consultation. She barely has anybody in her spa.
