I grew up in Gulf Breeze and have lived there all my life. I have been going to Mrs. Gay for about ten years. She is amazing! I rarely get her because she has so many loyal customers and not enough time, but when I do it's always better than the last time. She is truly the best hair stylist I have ever encountered. Also, she is very softspoken so I have to say that this Brett person is mistaken when claiming that he saw her yelling. All of the people treat you like neighbors and do a great job. I have moved away - two states away - but I still wait until I visit my family in Gulf Breeze to get my hair cut so that I can have it done here. This all being said, there is a "new" Bay Bridge Hair Designs down in Tiger Point that is Awful. I will write my review of that on their listing, but to make my point: a homeless man did my hair when I went there.

A hidden gem. I've only had services done by Mary, but she is fantastic and an excellent colorist. Im from NYC, Boston, Tampa and now living in pensacola and I can say the services here are certainly on par with those from major cities in the US. Prices are great!!!!!!!!! The actual shop could use some renovations as it looks a bit outdated--don't be dissuaded, excellent quality of work here!

I visited this salon on Saturday between 2:30-3. I explained I was looking for a new stylist to cut short "edgy" hair. After looking at their stylist books I was told my stylist would be right with me. When Dasie arrived I almost walked out. She was at least 70 but I decided to give her a try. she was very polite but extremely slow and gave me a basic cut. There was no offer to shampoo my hair nor did she dry my hair after the cut. She was not what I asked for and after paying $25 plus $5 tip I am still looking for a salon. If they did not have the correct stylist available....they should have said so. chris

The previous post by user "Brett" is a personal attack concerning a competitor in the hair industry. What he said happened is a lie. We know our customers very well, and we have not done a client named brett. God knows the truth and the truth has set us free. We will pray for Brett.
