I love Nue Studio. I see Taylor who is a blond color specialists and she always does a fantastic job. I see Sachi for my cut and she is incredibly talented. My hair always looks fabulous every time I leave Nue Studio. Everyone is incredibly nice as well. Don't be scared by the grunge look of the studio. The people there are extremely talented and the products used are of good quality. Sometimes the customer service is a little lacking when you want to call to make an appointment or when they should call to confirm; however, this wouldn't make me change hairdressers.

When you walk in, it's such a different vibe (in a good way). It's more like walking to a art store than a hair studio. The stylists are very cordial. They talk to you like you've known each since grade schools. Rodrigo cuts my hair and performs miracle every time I go. I've been going for a year and a half now and I'll never step my foot inside another hair studio / barber shop again. You guys need to stop reading this and schedule an appointment.

If you want to look like Rachel from Friend circa 1996 go here! If you want to give specific instructions for you hair and have them ignored go here! If you want to spend at least an hour in a dirty disgusting place surrounded by people who look like they are homeless and a bad amateur art project exploded, go here! First off, the salon is in the bottom of a pay by the week motel. I went to work with Sam (who is amazing) but she is out of town and so Todd cut my hair and gave me the worst cut I've ever had. I said two things clearly: do not cut my bangs shorter than brows and no MORE than 2 inches MAX. My eyebrows are way shorter than brows and my hair is 4 inches cut off. My hair hasn't been this short in over 4 years! I said i do NOT want bangs that are betty page straight across, i want them natural and wispy looking. First he cut them blunt cut across exactly how i said i DID NOT want them and cut my hair wait too blunt when I asked for it to not look freshly cut. After he recut it, without telling me it would take it up another two inches and yelling at his kid the whole time that it's only another 5 minutes. Texting me paragraphs messages saying he can give me extensions. I asked for natural grown out - so why would i want fake extensions? This guy is the worst hair stylist who ignored simple instructions. He's a narcissist who thinks he knows how to cut hair without LISTENING to his client. He was in a rush to take his kid home and talked about himself the whole time, how he was arrested, and how he wanted to rent my house (when I never offered it! i only wanted to know what other houses were renting for in my neighborhood) instead of listening to what I wanted. He didn't care about my hair because he was not getting paid and sent me some crap messages about how beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Wtf? I mean seriously, if that is the case why even bother to get hair cut in the first place! I just have to wait for this to grow out and wear bobby pins and buns for the next month. He knew he effed up the bangs bc he said next time they will be longer.. NEXT TIME? ? Are you serious? There are so many stylists in this town that if you don't get it right the first time why should I give it a second chance? Seriously delusional. I have very thick hair and asked him to thin it out and take weight off and he didn't hence the Rachel from friends layered cut = every girls nightmare. The salon is gross and dirty and the guy is a sociopath. In response to Todd's message about being cool one day and then not the next day. Todd- I wanted a hair cut to be conducted with my instructions not a tenant or a friend! There is no way in hell i'd rent my house to you after seeing how dirty and disgusting the salon was decorated. Anyways sthe charge is disputed on amex and the inital charge that I paid to lifebooker will be disputed as well. Not sure what celebrities would step foot in this dirty salon, Goodform is a million times nicer than this crack den. The guy is a LOSER, he can't even spell awesome correctly in his response below! Sam if you go back to good form let me know.

Sent an email out with questions about service and advice on Sept. 8th 2012 and have yet to receive a reply to this date. This a review of them not attending to my questions not about the actual place and location itself.
