I can't explain how much I LOVE THIS SALON!! It is a very cozy home turned into a salon. It is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I absolutely loved my haircut and the color bar was awesome. You can watch them mix the color right in front of you! The shampoo bowls are the most comfortable I have ever tried and it was the BEST shampoo I have ever experienced. I will DEFINITELY go back. I did not have the same experience as the other 2 reviews. It was definitely the OPPOSITE! Thank you Garden Street Salon!!

Brooke, I am very sad to hear your experience was a negative one and would REALLY like to make it up to you somehow. 1. Request: all over foil highlights in thin fine weaves (to grow out graduallly and naturally). Result: slices of hair coloured in papers (which bleed color). Color was left on too long and as a result my hair was significantly over-processed resulting in a lot of breakage and damage. Also because only the roots were colored some pieces of hair had a patchwork look of color. (ie: two inches noticeably blond next two inches a light brown etc) 2. Request: lighten hair with a high-lift blonde... NO bleach products. Result: despite my request a bleaching product was used, and my hair developed brassiness customary of bleach results. 3. Request: a disconnected blunt cut with well blended layers. Result: Hair cut in a noticeable V shape with a clearly defined shelf of layers. I gave them a couple of chances but in the end it just is not worth the damage to my hair or my wallet to return. It took my stylist back home over three hours to try to rectify some of the damage incurred at the Garden Street Salon. Needless to say I will not be going back there and am once again on the hunt for a stylist who listens to what I want done with my hair and follows through with my requests.
