Massage Envy
Reviews
Very good massage. This was my first visit. The other reviews on here were pretty old but I've always had a good experience at massage envy and this was no different. Massage was on time and standard 50 min. It seemed to be pretty busy after we left but wasn't busy when we arrived. One difference we with this place is the waiting room is the lobby vs a "quiet room" would visit again.
This was the 2nd time I've ever been to a massage envy, and this one was WAY better than the first one. My therapist did a great job working on all the knots I have in my shoulders and under my head. I come here about twice a month and the prices are great. I can't live without my MT and chiropractors, they really work great together.
I have had a membership with Massage Envy for one year. During that time I have received decent service......until now. The end of my membership came to an end and I was informed that it would be renewed automatically since I had not submitted my cancellation in writing. I have tried to speak with a manager in several occasions and keep getting the run around. Nobody will return my calls. DO NOT sign up for a membership at Massage Envy! It is a bad idea and will give you nothing but headaches.
They are unorganized, and the customer service is poor. I told the masseuse I had a cervical strain and a spinal cyst, and she didn't know what a cyst was. When I pointed to where it was on my saccrum, she said "oh, I won't be going down THERE!" ..unprofessional. . Then she began shoving me as I laid on the table. When I asked politely for her to go easier, she backed away with a furious look on her face, left me with an awkward silence for ten seconds, then told me maybe I should come back when I can see someone else.. There's more, but it only gets worse from there.. Anyways, the girl at the front gave me her phone number, yet later that day said she wasn't interested. Whatever, but why even give me your number? Lol.. When I told her the place was ghetto (unprofessional, unorganized, inmates running the asylum) while I was there, she said she was looking for another place to work. But later when I texted her about that, she acted offended by the comment. Crazy! And she's a Psychology major.. Bottom line, pick another place to go. The masseuse Neesha was great though, I must say, as was Ms. Cynthia
I had a male therapist and he acted completely unprofessionally. His facial expression was creepy from the minute he came to get me from the waiting room. He said: I will be taking care of you tonight-- I mean today-- and I think you are gonna like it. When he referred to the massage table as the bed I said I am outta here!! The price is cheap for a reason. Save up and get a real massage from a skilled therapist who does not view massage as something sexual but a professional treatment for aching muscles.
