Bellisimo European Day Spa

This spa was just OK. I booked a couples massage for my husband and myself. The appointment was for 4pm. We arrived at 3:45pm to an empty desk. We could hear people talking down the hall so we assumed that the receptionist was talking to other customers. After a good five minutes, my husband and I tried to get some attention by closing the door again (loudly) and talking loudly to one another. After another five minutes I finally walked down the hallway and yelled out "hello" at which point we were finally seen. The spa rooms were clean and they offered robes and lockers, which was nice. After we changed, we were shown to another room to fill out our paperwork. By this time it was after 4pm. We quickly filled out the paperwork and were then told that they were waiting for the previous couple to exit the room. It wasn't long after that we were shown to the couples room, but our massages did not start until 4:15. Unfortunately for us, they ended shortly before 5:30. I am positive of this because there was a clock directly above my table. The massages were fine, the two women were nice, but it was very disappointing to book a massage for 1.5 hours and not get that expected time. Another note - I was told that each massage would be $100. As my husband and I were getting ready to leave, I gave him the $200 plus tip so he could pay while I finished changing. When we got in the car he told me it came to a total of $210. What was the extra $10 for? Tax? This was very disappointing - especially as we had already lost 15 minutes of massage time! I realize the salon closes at 5:30, but if they start a massage 15 minutes late, they should stay the extra 15 minutes so the customer gets what they pay for. I probably will not go back.
Gisele March 4, 2012 I love Bellisimo Day Spa! My experiences there have always been good ones. The staff and owner are very professional and very accomodating to my needs. The Spa itself is impeccibly clean, I always feel like I am in a cozy home not a cold clinic atmoshere. They specialize in skin care and the owner has years experience and knowledge that started in a medical environment. She does a lot of research in the product she uses without forcing unnecessary products or procedures. I trust her and all her staff members. I recommend Bellisimo's to anyone who cares about healthy skin care!
I've been to many different places to get get spa treatment, just because I always want to see what else is offered. Bellisimo was HORRIBLE. I went there for a facial, the women insulted me repeatedly about how bad my skin was. She pricked at my face repeatedly, I opened my eyes and she had a tissue COVERED in blood. It was the most painful facial I've ever gone through. I asked her a question about a procedure she was performing on me because I had never had it done before, and she made a rude comment about how it was obvious I wasn't expose to good skin care. She then tried to sell me products that I really wasn't interested in, and made a comment about how she didn't think I would be interested in it. DON'T GO HERE
I think Bellisimo is a beautiful salon. I've gone to them for my waxing appointments, and the atmosphere is great. They are the same price range as other places. But it's the best wax I've had.
