Re Salon and Med Spa

I went to Re salon for about 3-4 years and never had a problem, until the last time I went. My roots did not match the rest of my hair after being colored. I mentioned it to the stylist and she told me to give it a few days and if I still felt the same way to come back. I came back to have it fixed and they charged me full price ($90), even tho I had just spent $250 getting it done there a week prior!!!! When I said it was re-service, they offered to take off $10 (which was not a reasonable discount). When I tried to rectify the situation with the salon owner (Lindsay), she wouldn't return my multiple phone calls or messages. I called 3-4 times without any return call!!! And when I finally did talk to her, she asked if I would come in to discuss with happened with her and the stylist so we could rectify the situation. She would not give me my $ back and seemed unconcerned with my keeping my business. I was shocked by the lack or professionalism and extremely poor customer service. I HATE how this was handled because I really like the stylist I went to there!! I really want to go back because its hard to find a good stylist, but how can I after an awful customer service experience like that??? ***Heather is a great stylist tho!!! I highly recommend her!!!***
I had a terrible experience at “Re Salon & Med Spa”. During the pedicure they gave me a fungus infection. It was awful! Neither the owner nor the nail technician said they were sorry. The owner would not call me personally. She would only communicate through the spa manager, which delayed any attempt at a resolution. They promised to call me back last time we spoke, but I never heard from them. At first, the nail technician claimed that I came in with an existing infection until she realized she had confused me with another client. There was no apology. The owner, nail technician, and manager were difficult to work with and did not offer any customer accommodation such as a refund. I am extremely disappointed, what poor customer service and bad sanitation!! I am giving it ZERO stars. This is troubling for a salon & spa that poses as a high-class establishment. My husband regrets buying me the gift of services to Re Spa.
I went here using a gift card for my birthday to get a haircut. I was going from below shoulder length to a more bob style and requested someone who was good with short hair. The place was really cool, though I was thrown by the parking and front doors at first (they are barn door size!). After walking in I got a glass of water and wandered around to look at the place while i waited since I was early. Jesse the hairstylist was very professional and nice, though I thought he was too rough and quick with washing my hair (less massage more rough scrub). He did a fantastic cut and style though, just what I wanted in record time. I'm not very talkative so we ended up not talking much as he seemed to prefer staying focused but he was friendly if I made a comment or asked a question.. It was a really nice place and I would recommend it if you are in the area but not the best I've ever been to and I think there are cheaper places around that do a similarly great job.
Re is amazing solely because of Elizabeth Queener - she is the absolute best! The salon/spa is quaint but still manages an edgier feel. The products are also pretty good - don't be put off by the sometimes pretentious downstairs...If you ever need a facial in Charlotte - go see Elizabeth, she will change your life!
I called RE and told them I needed to cut my hair and I wasn't sure if I wanted a trim or a chop. The girl on the phone paired me with a stylist that she was confident could do either. I ended up having a bad day and took it out on my hair...Ashley was a great sport! I gave her a pallet and she went with it. She even booked an entire separate appt for me when I decided I needed it tweaked. The cut was flawless and Ashley is so sweet. The experience is nothing like going to a stuffy salon where nobody will ever know your name.
