River Rock is a wonderful local salon. My entire family gets their hair done there. Holly is a master with thick, out of control hair! Casey has a special way with kids, and Abby cuts my husbands hair to perfection. The entire staff at River Rock Salon is professional, and entertaining!

I had such a fantastic experience at River Rock Salon in Lake Placid! I had my hair, make-up and nails done for my wedding and every aspect of my visit was professional, courteous, warm and welcoming! I am not from this area and had no opportunity to visit the salon before my wedding day so I put my faith in the hands of the ladies at the salon and they did not disappoint. My hair looked fantastic and so did my make-up. We were tight on time but they were able to squeeze in a manicure and made me look beautiful on my big day! Even though I do not live in the area I will certainly visit again to get my nails done or a blow out or to browse their beautiful jewelry selection. I would recommend River Rock Salon to anyone living in or visiting the Lake Placid area!

After visiting every salon in Lake Placid, I have determined that this salon is the most capable of providing professionalism, elite service, and style. My wife and I are treated with care and I know that my time spent here will be stress free. We work long hours so a relaxing environment like River Rock is the closest to a recharge that we can get. Clearly the owner knows that it is more important to hire talent than just employees who can sling scissors. When you have employees like Vicki who are positive, energetic, and precise, the value of your service grows to a level of being priceless. We are moving an hour away but will be traveling here to get our hair done right. It's your hair and you have to live with it, so don't waste your time on anything but a 5 diamond experience!

Have been a client for a few years now and love love love the salon. A little bit of Manhattan in Lake Placid Ny! I feel very comfortable at the salon and utilize all of their services. Its a GREEN space which is awesome! Super accommodating to my schedule and great product line. Ask for a glass of the peppermint water while they doll you up- the best!

Where do I begin!! I look forward to going to see Holly and her AMAZING TEAM at River Rock Salon, when I have to get my Hair quaffed or my toes done!! She is the BEST in the Area and knows how to make you look & feel absolutely amazing!!
