It was just horrible. Receptionist was extremely rude. I didn't feel welcome as soon as I stepped in. Facial was a total joke- a woman ( can't call her a cosmetologist) put on me three products ( who knows what kind) in a completely dark room. How can you use any products If you didn't even look at the skin, without knowing your skin type or concern. It took ten-fifteen minutes at most!! It's dangerous to perform the facial this way, since you can easily make the skin problems worse. The same person does massages, facial and pedicure- for the normal salon it's unheard of. I am very disappointed, waste of time and money.
Unfortunately I cannot comment on their services because I didn't make it in the door. The staff and owner are rude and unprofessional. I called 22 hours before a spa day to cancel because my mother was sick (due to her pancreatic cancer). When I explained the situation to the owner the was not willing to bend on the policy that I would lose the promotional value of my voucher for not canceling 48 hours in advance. No empathy for my mother who has cancer. Luckily a kind person at living social refunded my money because of my terrible experience. I would never set foot in this salon.
Got a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. It was my first time to the spa and my first time being waxed. The aesthetics at the spa were great and the staff was kind. The wax went great and Z really knew what she was doing. Thank you AJs Spa for a great first experience! I will defiantly be back.
My mani/pedi was great. Zakiya was wonderful. Very professional & sweet. This was the highlight of my spa day experience. Then I had a massage & facial from a different girl. She only knew how to apply one pressure level, which was not enough for my tense back muscles. I've never had a facial before, but I thought it included your nose, yes? My nose wasn't touched & its the part that probably needed it most. I listened to a loud ticking clock that hung above my head for the 90 min I was on the massage table. I had a headache afterwards. I was the lucky last customer of the day, so I got to listen to the vacuum cleaner while my manicure was finished . I guess they couldn't wait to clean til I left. Must have been in a hurry or something. Business hours say open til 5. It was 2:45. I may return for a deluxe pedicure only, because like I said, Zakiya was wonderful. I will not waste my time or money on other services there. I don't know how it is on the best of Cleveland list. I will return to Massage Envy for all future massages.
DON"T WAISTE YOUR MONEY like I did!!! I purchased a deluxe mani/pedi groupon and I've called back 3 times to schedule an appointment. The first time I called, I was informed that I could not schedule and appointment for both services any later than 3:30pm. I was disappointed by that, because that means I would have to take time off of work. The second time I called, I was prepared because I had a half day off work scheduled and I decided to spend it there. I was told that they would have to call me back in 15 minutes because the system was down. Two hours went by and I didn't receive a call back, so I called again. The last time I called was the worst!!! I asked if I could have an appointment between 3-5pm. I was told that nothing was available. I was totally irritated at this point. The rude lady on the phone said to me, "I could go back and forth with you but my hands are tied. Have you ever been here before? Or did you buy a Groupon?" I am horrified by the lack of customer service and treatment and I wish I would have seen the reviews before I spent my money on this. DON"T WAISTE YOUR MONEY like I did, because I won't be going here.
