Dr. Smilovits has been my dentist for the past 15 years. I listened to his advice and I am very happy with results. At some point another dentist recommended me not to take wisdom teeth out and it ruined my smile by pushing teeth forward and crowding them. To fix that problem Dr. Smilovits recommended Invisalign braces which I wore for 9 month. It was not easy, but possible. My teeth look perfect now. Thank you Dr. Smilovits Beachwood, OH
I wish I could leave 0 stars if this option would be available. This gay is a crook. I lost 3 teeth because of work he did. He would file my teeth almost to nothing to put a crown in. This crowns would never stay even 6 month. They would came off and he would file my teeth more. finally nothing left of my teeth and he offer to put in plants. The gay just a dentist does not have spacial traning, but offer to do inplants. He file my teeth on purpose to make more money. Another thing he did he told me I need gum sergery I have insurence and he did this gum segery tree times when he want to it again I got smarter and went for the second opinion. I did not need any gum sergery. After I left him I had to put 3 inplants in after I paid couple of thousand for crowns. I was left without teeth and without money. please do not go to this crook he is the most disohonest person I know.
Dr. Smilovits only cares about what patient has in the valet. He is a very awful dentist and when somebody questions him he has no respect for people whatsoever. He will do everything to make sure to get most money out of you. Here is a few points why he is so bad dentist: 1) I asked him to submit a predetermination to my insurance provider so that I could see how much money I could afford. He asked me to pay him $15 if I want him to submit predetermination to my insurance provider This is very wrong, you must agree with me on it. 2) My tooth decayed and only implant could substitute it. He told me that when he removes a tooth bone graft has to be implemented immediately after tooth extraction and he asked $900 for bone graft, which is twice as much then other providers ask. I went to different doctor for consultation who has more than 20 years intense experience in dentistry and he explained me in great details why I do not need a bone graft and also bode graft doesn't have to be done right after tooth removed. You could also research online about bone graft and you will see that Smilovits is wrong again. 3) He charge twice as much he contracted with insurance for white fillings. I called my insurance and they told me that i will be responsible only for $112 out of the packet in white fillings, but Dr. Smilovits asked for $250 after insurance. which is more then twice as much. Dr. Smilovits will reap you off stay away from his practice. I hope someone could sue his office for malpractice. In addition, he is 67 years old and could not do his job anymore, he has to be retired.
Peter is an excellent dentist, i've been coming to him for about a year and a half now and every time he does work on my teeth I am very pleased with the work. I have never one had any problem with the work done and I really like that he uses thin needles, a majority of the time I don't even feel the needle going into my gums. I recommend Dr. Smilovits to all my friends and family. if I were to rate his dental work out of 10, id would give him a 15/10.
Being new to the Cleveland area, I am glad I found Dr. Smilovit after cracking my tooth. He saw me the next day and was able to fill my cavity. He has a professional team who care about giving a fantastic result. His office is efficient and there was no waiting either, which I appreciated. Thank you for a great result!
