I really enjoyed my hair cut and style at Square One in Columbus and I'm very picky. I've been through three stylists this year because I haven't been satisfied with the service. But all my expectations were met with my stylist Bailey. I explained the style I wanted and requested she didn't use a razor to give it texture and she completely agreed and could understand why I didn't like my previous stylists since that's what they had done. She paid very close attention to detail, she even mentioned that one side of my hair was a half inch shorter than the other. I'm glad she got me straightened out! The ambiance there is also very chic and they have the signature Aveda products and complimentary mini facials that you would expect at any Aveda salon. I would go there again.

Ron Keffer knows how to cut men's hair, seriously. He always, always takes his time, and even when he's technically in a hurry, he doesn't hurry. I've had my hair cut by him at least thirty times, and literally every single time it's been A+. It's amazing. And, my hair is really hard to cut, and get right. Left in other barber's hands I've left feel angry/depressed. But, Ron always gets it right. He listens, and doesn't forget.

I have been a customer at Square one in Dayton for almost 10 years and always had the best service. I moved to Columbus and have now tried the Columbus location twice.The colorists DO NOT listen to what you want! I go in the first time with a photograph and very detailed description of a light shade of red that I wanted and walked out with BLACK HAIR!! So, as I didn't learn my lesson I return thinking I would have someone different 3 months later that could apply a color that would fix the nightmare I walked out with before-- and not only do I walk out with my hair the exact same shade it was when I walked in-WHAT was supposed to cost 65.00 ended up costing 200.00. The customer service is horrific, the work is horrific. After 10 years of being a customer, I WILL NEVER walk into Square One Salon again.
