I unfortunately had a horrible experience at this place. The first time that I went to Upton nails it was a pretty good experience. I got shellac nails and at checkout they gave me a card saying if they grew out within 2 weeks they would fix for me. I came back right before the two weeks was up and they had grown out quite a bit. When I came in and asked if they could fix it , they argued with me about fixing my nails like they said they would. Instead of fixing them they decided to give me my money back for my previous visit. I am extremely disappointed because I didn't ask for them to fix them for free they offered it, and did not follow through with what they said. With someone who is also in customer service it was an extremely disappointing experience. I would have loved to recommend this place but unfortunately due to the lack of customer service I cannot.

I just left Uptons feeling disappointed and grossed out. It was my first time trying this salon and with the majority of the reviews giving such high praise I thought it would be fine. I got the Deluxe manicure and the girl did an ok job. Nothing to 'wow' me, but when she wiped my arms down after the sea scrub the towel smelled strongly of mildew. Hoping it was a fluke I didn't say anything at first, but after she wiped the lotion and oil off later on with 'fresh' towel that also smelled like it was left in the washer too long I had to say something. When I pointed the odor out she ran the towel under the faucet and wiped my arms down again. I felt like saying "Thanks that did absolutely nothing." Instead I paid my bill and left. A few exfoliating scrubs up to my elbows later I don't feel so dirty, but I definitely won't go back there again.

The place I usually go to no longer had the man I'm used to getting my acrylics done by, so I decided to try this place. I thought the old place did them well. Not even close compared to Dong Ho at Upton's! His attention to detail is to be envied! Spectacular! I cannot say enough for him. I went in today for the first time at 4:55 unaware they closed at 5. He was kind enough to see me anyway and then on top of that, he still pulled out all the stops making this the best experience I've had in a nail salon and my new place TO GO.

Absolutely best! I have been struggling to find a place to do a good job on a set of solar nails and haven't found it anywhere. Tried Uptons today, Uliesi (older Chinese man) did my nails. Nicest guy ever and did the best job ever on my nails. Wonderful customer service & skill. The only place I will go from now on.

This lady was really nice, and she was very kind enough to do my nails and she did a fantastic job on my acrylic nails that i had showed everyone of my friends proudly on the next evening of my prom night. The other lady that did my pedicure was the most nicest lady I've ever met, and she even did a really great job on painting my toenails. She was really nice and friendly. The lady who had also did my nails she was really funny also she even kept cracking a lot of jokes and she also told me how she was also a mother of two children and that she made me to realize about how much my mother did for me. Overall this nail salon and spa is my favorite and I would recommend for others to try it out too especially if they even have any kind of special events.
