awesome salon from the moment you walk. I'm so happy i found this place i was referred by a friend and i am very happy my highlights look amazing its exactly what i wanted. My hair dresser actually listened to what i wanted and also gave me good advice to make sure i was happy with the result.

Worst experience ever. I was being cheap and bought a groupon to this place for a haircut and deep conditioning valued at $75 for $30. I drove for 40 minutes to get the haircut and came out mad that I even wasted my time aside my money. The place was totally emptied. Not one single soul was there except for me and the lady that owns the place, Elizabeth. The salon is very minimally furnished with cheap furniture. The deep conditioning was literally cheap conditioner (aquage) applied and let me sit for 10minutes. The water from my hair was dripping all over my shirt as I waited. The cut was dull. She just didn't seem to know how to cut hair (I mean you can kind of tell by the way someone dress themselves if they know how to style and make others look good). When she finished she applied some kind of volumizing powder to the roots of my hair and that was it. It was seriously the worst hair cut ever. I am now questioning the integrity of Groupon in allowing just any business to advertise and sell their products and services on their site. The service I got at Sammy Salon and Spa did not worth $75 as advertised. I don't think I will buy another Groupon and definitely won't return to Sammy Salon and Spa again.
