LOVED IT!!! Our stay for our Anniversary was sooooo cute and romantic there. If you are trying to find a place for your Anniversary, look no further. It can be pricey, but so worth it! Pool=amazing! Clean and beautiful. Waterfall jacuzzi was awesome! Room=incredible! We stayed in the Pent Houses and the room was perfect! Wish I lived there haha Front Desk=they were alright. Wish they were friendlier when we got there. Bell Staff=Sooooo kind and helpful. Lee Stoor is the most amazing bellman! He makes your stay memorable. Shuttles available to go to local restaurants was a plus too! Super pretty for holidays! Thanks Zermatt!
My family and I spent our Christmas back in 2013 at this resort. The room we got was one of their much larger ones. It had 4 bedrooms, a full kitchen, fireplace and cable tv. It was pretty nice. Plenty of space for 13 adults and 3 kids. We spent about 4 days their. They had plenty of the activities available. They had nice gym and steam room and dry heat sauna in the gym locker rooms. Their indoor pool is connected to an outside pool, which we all thought was pretty neat. The indoor pool was heated which was very comfortable. Not too far from the resort is a walmart so we just loaded up on groceries and had a wonder christmas meal at the room. Their was also snow castles and the homestead crater, all of which is worth your time. The staff was awesome! No matter what need we had we felt they made an effort to accommodate. It was a bit pricey but because there was a lot of us we just all split the cost which made it really affordable.
Went to the only restaurant on site just to grab a drink. I walked in and there was no bar. They serve beer and alcohol with three bar tables. They were all open. I told the hostess I just wanted to grab a drink. She said it would be a 20 minute wait and suggested I order room service. I just wanted a drink. That's it. I didn't want a table. Put a couple stools up to the bar and there would be a regular bar. Just dumb.
What a great place! My husband and I stayed there a few weeks ago for our anniversary. The staff was great and very friendly. We checked in around 11 at night and there was a bellhop ready to help us up to our room and show us around the hotel. We absolutely loved the swimming pool! So fun to swim inside and out with a really cool waterfall hot tub. We also loved getting gelato and pastry treats at the Italian bakery they had. Lots of fun activities to do at the resort. Will say the only negative thing was the mini golf course. It was very poorly maintained but we still had fun golfing and making it fun. Also, we loved the free valet service! They were great and always had our car waiting for us. The bellhops were wonderful and one of them in particular took such great care of us. He always asked if we needed anything and even brought us a dessert from the bakery for our anniversary! He definitely left a lasting impression on me. Never had anyone before care so much about us while staying at a hotel. Definitely would stay here again!
We choose this hotel because of how amazing we heard it was and how nice, and because of the family friendly atmosphere. I was really disappointed with how COLD both swimming pools were. Inside and outside were extremely cold, my kids didn't even want to swim. We had expected with the amount of money we were paying that the inside would at least have been heated! We have little kids and hanging out in the hot tub the majority of the time is not really an option! Matty's Bistro was another let down, we had our resort credit we had to use, and were very hungry when we came down to dinner the first night. Again, waiting for 45 min for a table when the restaurant is not even crowded at all with little kids is not fun! And then having to wait another 45 min after ordering for our food! They did give us a free appetizer, but I expected more from a LUXURY hotel and how much we were paying. We still had a nice stay, but I was really disappointed in those two aspects of the hotel. Also, don't expect much from the "executive putt-putt course", it was poorly maintained and not a great course.
