Indian Springs

Lovely renovation and new buildings since the last time we came here. The mineral pool is still spectacular, but the new additions make this place even better. We stayed in the newer building (#8). Plenty of parking and the walkway to the pool is well placed and considered.
My family, from New York City, stayed here and had the most amazing experience. We hung out in their lovely farm-style house cottage with plush white comforters and country charm and sipped wine on their quaint little private wood porches out front. My brother-in-law finished the Napa Ironman race (that he actually won!) and he spent that evening soaking in the healing mineral pool while we chatted with him through the steam on the warm deck. The service was stellar and after spending the rest of their week in Yountville, they said that Indian Springs and Calistoga was their absolute favorite part of the Napa Valley. I will recommend this place to all our visitors!
The spa sets their clocks back fifteen minutes. Of all the establishments in the United States, this spa does not feel the need to run on time like the rest of us. Upon making a reservation I was told to arrive 10-15 minutes early to change and lock away my belongings. After arriving early, changing, and waiting ten minutes past my schedule appointment time I noticed their clocks were slow. The woman at the front desk informed me that yes, they are aware the clocks are fifteen minutes slow. This is to best accommodate people who are late. Hold up, you ask me to arrive early and then penalize me for doing so? Even the clock at the pool was slow. What the heck is this? This is poor management at its finest. Instead of standing up to the latecomers who make a fuss, this spa decided to change their clocks and act like it's perfectly normal. The mud bath was amazing. Juan was great. But I cannot in good faith recommend this place based on their weak-willed attempt to accommodate for people running late. This is unacceptable. It's almost funny because the employees knew it was the most buzzard practice, but had to force it out over a fake smile to please their management. Grow a spine and get in the right time like the rest of us!
Indian Springs is simply amazing. A place of relaxation and serenity. The first impression of the resort is the beautiful grounds. It is well maintained with lots of different activities to enjoy, i.e croquet, bocce ball, shuffleboard, etc. And if games are not your cup of tea, relax in one of the many hammocks. The staff was very friendly and they go out of their way to assist you. We were fortunate enough to stay in one of their beautiful new rooms. The design and decor of the new rooms are very well done. Take advantage of the impressive olympic sized mineral pool and spa accommodations. I highly recommend the mud baths. And don't forget to take their bikes for a spin to enjoy some of the nearby wineries. This place has it all, it will not disappoint.
Indian Springs has been around for as long as I can remember -- and it continues to keep things real, unpretentious and natural. It's a great place for really relaxing -- and you don't feel like you're surrounded by all the modern stero typical spa stuff -- exactly why I love it. It's down to earth, beautiful, relaxing, chill and gives you the feel that you're in a very beautiful restored spa from the 1950s. Love it!
