I got service at the spa 4 times I liked two of them. I honestly like how hard they try to make you happy, but with the premium price of this service, they cannot afford really to not make customers happy simply because competition will blow them out of the water. Ok so I like the options and (sometimes) I like the messages. I usually take the message and the bath package. The bath has been proving useless really to me. They say it is an hour long and I have yet to receive a full hour of service. The last time I was there I only got to soak in the water (with clay) for less than 30 minutes, then I was asked to lay down for a foot run which lasted for 10 minutes or less (which was good by the way). However, I felt that my hour session was non justifiably was cut to 40 minutes of service. The most important thing here is the messages. I travel 1.5 hours each way to get there so it is important for me to get a good service. This is besides the reason that I pay double than I would at a regular message place near me. So the last two times I would say my messages have been no more than an oil/lotion skin rub with a little bit of pressure when I ask for it. I clearly indicate my preference to be medium pressure but that always seemed like very light taps on my skin. I hated the waste of time and money and I hated that when I complained nothing was done about it. Anyway, they used to be very good but I do not think I will go back there simply because the drive there is too far and have not been coming out happy from it in the last two times.

I have been to THE LAVENDAR HILL SPA four times, and each time I have had a Wonderful Experience. It is a little small, but the treatments are more than worth it. You get to choose from many different combinations of services, you always get an Amazing Soak in their Couples Jacuzzi Bathtub, before you head out for your Treatment's, they lead you to their separate beds where the staff place a cooling sachet of lavendar, eucalyptus, and other wonderful herbs placed over your eyes, and before you go to your tailored treatment's, you are treated to A WONDERFUL FOOT MASSAGE, unlike any other I have experienced. I am getting ready to schedule another trip, soon. THE LAVENDAR HILL SPA, is the only place I go when I visit The gorgeous Napa & Sonoma Wine Country; this Spa is known for their couples packages but it works well as a great place to go with a friend.

My husband and I had a WONDERFUL time at this beautiful spa!!! We were able to take soothing baths in the same cottage which made for a really romantic way to start our honeymoon. The staff was very attentive to our individual needs and the garden area in the back was very tranquil. I'm not sure about the reviewer before me, but we didn't have any of the issues that she reported. Maybe the management has changed, but our experience was great and we're planning on going on our upcoming anniversary for a treat! I highly recommend this lovely, relaxing haven for anyone interested in getting away from it all.

Do not go to this spa! I was looking forward to a relaxing afternoon after driving 2 hours to get there. It is quaint and clean. However, it is poorly managed, is located right next to the highway and the rooms are too small. My experience was horrible. The 50 min. salt glow was more like 40 min. bubble bath and 10 min. salt scrub; the lady left me some salt scrub and said I could rub some on my belly if I wanted. She was very unprofessional - she forgot my robe, and then my slippers and accidently dropped my shirt into the tub, which probably wouldn't have happened if there was a decent place to hang my clothes. Then I had to walk across the "garden" in my (ultra thin white) robe with passing traffic and through the lobby with waiting men and women for my massage. The room I was put in was right next to the highway and there was a fly buzzing around my ear and face for the entire massage. Although I requested another room or that she swat the fly, she insisted that I focus on the massage and the music. I left more tense and stressed when I left than when I came in. What a waste!!!

Fantastic treatments. Fairly priced, tranquil setting, and very clean. I highly recommend
