I visited the club here in Tampa. The place was amazingly well organized and equipped. The staff was professional and obviously well trained. There is a great variety of organized fitness classes, and more than a sufficient number of free weight and weight machine stations. The locker and bathing facilities are the cleanest of the elite clubs in the area. The member fees are very good value for money. Value for money has and always be something that is individually determined, for the obvious reasons. The only negative review I've read before viewing the club and since that time has been based of fees. I became a member. I found features and services at the club that meet my needs, and that I am willing and capable of pay for. I have no complaints for Life Time, that are about the club. I was able to overcome any concern that was about me so that I could clearly rate Life Time Tampa.

The club is nice and the location is great. The cafe is delicious and you don't have to be a member to enjoy healthy food. Lucky enough to have a home gym so I made it probably 2x in the year that I was a member. The trainers are talented. The pilates staff is amazing. Locker rooms are really great, with facilities like a jacuzzi or steam room and toiletries. The spa was nice and it was a treat to have something in a gym to make a whole day out of one of my 2 visits. Staff: amazing, helpful and wonderful. They always remember your name and encourage you to jump into gym wide functions or programs to keep you on your goals. Music: is there music? There are a few music videos playing in between Lifetime Commercials marketing to us while we are working out reminding us why we joined. This was boring. You can tune to selected stations to listen to music or the preselected channels of sports, sports or sports if you want to watch TV. There are no TVs in machines so you are in fact stuck watching golf or listening to Lifetime commercials. I finally cancelled bc I just never used the amazing facilities and still had to pay 1 more expensive month and a couple prorated days. Im sure it was in my contract but in the world of inexpensive athletic clubs I thought we were beyond this tactic.

This is one of the best gyms I have ever belonged to. Everything is top notch. Many amenities that other gyms don't have, the place is spotless and I am not afraid to use the whirlpool, sauna or steam. I love lifetime. The trainers are college trained and experienced. Yes, it is more money - but it is worth every penny. I drive 45 minutes just to get there because I won't step foot in another dirty, old LA Fitness. They also have all kinds of assessments that help you truly understand your progress and how to achieve your goals. I love this place - it is soooo much more than just a gym. They also cap their membership so you are never waiting for a sweaty machine. Before you judge it by price alone, try it, and see the real difference.

I usually almost never post reviews online, but after reading some reviews yesterday I was determined not to leave Tampa without letting people know what I think and know about Tampa Life Time Athletic and Life Spa. First, I am father of 4 beautiful children and husband to a beautiful wife who stays at home and works hard to raise our kids properly while I am the sole income provider. I live in Northern VA which the cost of living is straight up artificially high. I don't make a lot at my jobs (plural). That being said when people complain about the price of Life Time I want to tell them that they have no clue what they are talking about. Life Time is a lifetime investment. An investment that will change your life and others around you for the better. I believe Tampa Life Time is the best kept secret in Tampa for those who don't want to be average, for those who seek to be in an environment that encourages living life the way it should be. The staff there is personal. When you walk in you are walking in to YOUR fitness center equipped with the best equipment, the best trainers, a Life Spa that can cut your hair, wax your legs, and fix your body via their outstanding massage therapist. Plus you top it off with super healthy, ethical, organic food served by an outgoing and courteous staff. Oh yea and if you have kids bring them, because they are going to make sure they get good care and have a lot of fun while you transform yourself. The first day I walked into Tampa Life Time I felt like I was given the keys to the place. They cleaned the steam room for me, the trainers were always down to help me out if I needed help, the place is spotless. The changing rooms don't have towels on the floor everywhere like other gyms, the weights are put away and the equipment is clean and organized. I could go on and on. Look at the end of the day Tampa Life Time is all about transforming peoples lives for the better, they are ahead of the times. Look you get what you pay for. Tampa Life Time doesn't go the extra mile it goes two extra miles. I can assure you if you join Tampa Life Time and let them guide you or you just utilizes there amazing resources and tools you will get something that you can't get at other gyms or fitness centers and it will be totally positive. So for all those complainers, and nay Sayers, and for those who say they can't afford it. Ask yourself who do want to be? What do you want to do with your life? Do you want to be average? Or do you want to be the best? Do you want to be #1? Join Tampa Life Time. At least just try it. It will only be a win win. One last thing, this Life Time claims it is a Diamond Membership. It's not.
