Portsmouth Harbor Inn & Spa
Reviews
The location was great, the service was excellent, and the sherry was a welcome treat after a long day of bike riding. We stayed here on the third of six days of bike touring and were delighted at the comfortable rooms and super friendly staff. Breakfast was downright gourmet and Lynn was lovely, taking some time to show us detailed maps of Maine and give us advice on our bike route for the coming day. Bonus: easy walking distance to restaurants, etc. without being right in the thick of things.
Lynn & Rick were wonderful hosts. The services were top notch. Breakfast was outstanding and so was the spa. We plan on returning again. I highly recommend the "Portsmouth Harbor Inn & Spa" to anyone.
My girlfriend and I stayed here last March and loved it. The hot tub was well maintained and very appreciated in the evening, the breakfast was awesome - very tasty and creative, while still healthy. The owner and other staff were also great - had a good chat about chocolate and homebrewing while we were there. Will definitely be returning.
My wife and I stayed at the Inn for 3 nights for a quick anniversary getaway. Sadly, we came at a time when there was a devastating personal tragedy for the owners. Despite this, the Inn treated us in the finest traditions of hospitality that one would envision when thinking of New england family-owned inns. The breakfasts were unique and well-prepared, the Valora room was very compfortable and pleasant, the common areas were beautifully appointed and relaxing, and the location was convenient to many attractions in both Kittery and Portsmouth. The experience was such that we may make this an annual pilgrimage, in the future, we will also take advantage of the spa.
Excellent rooms, awesome food, and very relaxing spa. Staff were very nice and helped guide us through our visit to the area. Breakfast was *delicious* and accommodating, as my girlfriend and I are vegetarians.
