Yen, and her staff are awesome!! Best nails in town!
TERRIBLE!!! Decided to try a new place, and so upset and unhappy right now. $54.00 down the drain with a full set of thick, ugly acrylic nails that have big bubbles in them. I stopped the girl and told her they look weird and I noticed to that they were using dirty used tools (my usual place opens a clean new set of tools every time), she continued to paint a thick clear polish over the dust from the drill on the nails making them even worse. Then after I said why are there all these bubble and they are thick she said-wash you hand they look better-NOPE washing them only intensified the terrible look! Then the extremely unprofessional manager comes over and says to let her try and fix it and I refused. The only fix is to soak them off and that is what Im trying to do right now. OH and to top it off I had to pay!!! Im so mad at myself for paying. I called after for the owners name and she refused to give it to me and wouldn't give her name either. I reported them to the health dept, next is the BBB, and I will continue to tell people and make sure I get the word out to please stay away from this place. I should have read the reviews :( :( I will continue to try to get my money back
This is the ONLY place I will go to get my nails done in Albuquerque. They are THE BEST! The gel manicures last a very long time, the owners and staff are extremely friendly, and the nail salon is perfect. I highly recommend T & Y Nails
Never Wasting My Money Here Again. I had heard from several of my friends how good T&Y was and how happy they were with the work. My experience was AWFUL! My pedicure, a simple french tip with a parafin wax, pretty easy right? First, my massage chair was broken, then I had to ask the lady 4 times to cut out an ingrown nail, then I had to ask her to re-scrub the dead skin off my heels and toes (which they are STILL rough mind you), I was burned by the parafin wax, and the paint job barely lasted 3 days (the white rubbed right off in my high heels yesterday!). Then, getting my full set, the man drilled too much of my natural nail off so when he applied the acrylic it burned my skin so badly I nearly cried, he also glued the plastic tips on way to close to the end of my natural nails, so they feel like they will just break off soon. My nails are uneven and different thicknesses. He couldnt even paint on the simple design I chose for my thumbs , someone else had to come do it for him. My husband paid $70 for this mess!! LADIES, DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!!!
