Misty is my girl! I didn't get a membership until I met her last year around this time. She is friendly and actually cares for your well being. Because she is so awesome, her schedule gets booked quickly, so book in advance (2 weeks minimum).
Today was my 3rd visit to this Massage Envy. I became a member after the first visit with my therapist, Virginia. She has advanced training and was very skilled. The hour and a half experience was fabulous. Virginia only works Saturdays and I am seldom available then. My next visit was for an hour with Jovan. She has great hands and a very caring manner. Today Patrice was my therapist. I had requested neck, shoulder and upper back work due to a whiplash several years ago. Her work was meticulous and directed to assess my condition and treatment needed. I wasn't aware of this at the time because it just felt so good. I recall wondering what the gentle touches, taps and wiggles of her fingers were telling her about all of the muscles, bones, nerves and tendons under my skin and then I would float away again. Very near the end of my session she did some work on my neck so gently and conscientiously that I got immediate relief. The best part was that when she was finished she said she had a goal for my issues. That was something I've never heard before. She then explained to me what she would like to accomplish. I've booked my next appointment with Patrice and that is something I usually don't do. I just call when I'm ready and see if anything is available. If she cares enough about her work to assess the situation, have a goal and make the plan, then I'm in! Thanks Patrice, see you next week!
I've been a member for 3yrs and have nothing but good things to say always been treated good.
We love this massage envy. We have tried several different locations and this one seems to be the best. It's further from our home, but well worth the drive. Yes, sometimes after a massage, we are sore for a day or two, and in some cases for longer.. This usually means that your back was out of whack and could use a little more work. You can't just get 1 massage and expect a miracle. Book your massages here. Plus, the guy that works at the front desk is sooooo funny. You will enjoy your wait:)
First of all I typically do not right reviews online but I feel this is necessary. Out of the 5 or 6 Massage Envy's this has to be the worst one. I'm a member by the way. A couple months ago, my girlfriend and I scheduled a couple's massage for an hour. After the session my girlfriend was complaining that her back was hurting. We thought it would rub off in a day or two. It actually took almost month. I expressed my concern on the e-mail survey provided to us. We never received a response. Today I scheduled an appointment at 1:30pm. I arrive at 1:20pm just in case they take me in early. 15 minutes roll by and I stand up and politely ask both girls (a blond girl and dark haired girl) attending the desk, "My appointment is at 1:30pm right?" Both reply yes. The blond girls, says don't worry, you'll get your full hour. I sit back down and read an article and notice its 1:55pm. I'm fed up at this point, I stand and say this is ridiculous, I have to catch a flight. The blond apologizes and looks at the screen and notices my appointment was moved to 2:00pm. She turns to the dark haired girl and asks her did you move his appointment. She says yes and she asks why? Her response was his appointment is at 2:00pm. Dear Franchise Owner, F. Hammonds, I think you need to send your staff to additional training, Customer Service 101. When your staff feels that discussing personal issues is a priority versus taking care of a paying client that is definitely a concern in any business.
