Spa & Salon at Southpointe

The objective here is clearly to complete services as quickly as possible, paying no attention to quality or detail. For what I paid for services, I expected much better quality. I got a spa mani-pedi. My toenails were so badly shaped that I could have cut them neater than the tech shaped them. I immediately reshaped them when I got home, and upon inspection of the polish, I removed that as well and redid it. It was so sloppy! I pointed out to the tech several times that she removed polish on my toenails as she cleaned up the skin...her touch ups were even worse. Then, for my manicure, my nails weren't soaked, nor were my hands massaged. A little (uneven) shaping was done, then I was told to wash my hands...$40 for this?! I asked for a French manicure, but I had to point out several times to the tech that I could still see the whites of my natural nail below. She said then you would see more white on one finger than the others because some nails were longer than the others. She should have shaped them evenly into the same length in the first place! Then, to top it all off, the other nail tech (doing a mani next to me) informed me that tip was not included (which I already knew), and stated no less than 3 times that "most people tip 20%." I am aware of what a standard tip is, however to earn it, I expect better service than this spa provides. I would not recommend this place for a relaxing day.
Horrible experience with hair with a disappointing outcome with management.
I went to the Spa for an hour massage and pedicure. The massage was very good but not a full hour as stated. The pedicure was the worst I have ever had !!! Your feet are soaking in a stainless steel tub like your kitchen sink while you sit on a bench. The girl cut the toenails way too short and uneven then didn't even file them. There was a 1 minute massage which was very dissapointing since this is why we get pedicures! For what I paid I cannot reccomend anyone going here for a pedicure. I had to re-do my polish dates later.
