awful doctors, I have been going there for two years now and not once has Dr. mahood touched me. I have bad knee pain and arthritis n the back and not once has she put her hands on me to see what the problem is. I had a pap test and it was the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had. I took my son to see the doctor Jonathan Bornfreund was not a good experience for him either. he has a weight problem and I asked for help he said for him to stop eating bad food and exercise, thanks as if I didn't know that. not supportive at all. I no longer go there and now have a great doctor who is a actual MD

I should have listened to the previous patients that visited this office. Very unprofessional - across the board. I met with Jonathan Bornfreund who spoke to me like I was an idiot and then threatened to not refill my thyroid medication unless I visited their office at least twice a year (even though I've been on the same medication for years). I've called with a sinus infection on a Friday morning and they closed their office without ever returning my call. Then he refused to refill an antibiotic without me being seen again even though it was discussed that I get sinus infections several times a year and that he wouldn't have an issue refilling an rx when it happened. Do yourself a favor and find a better doctor/office.

Just moved here and asked for appointment because I'm sick with a sinus infection and the A-hole tells me 6 weeks! What! How bout go F*** your self.

My husband I have been going to Dr McCarthy for nearly 10 years and are obviously extremely satisfied. The staff at Sayebrook has always been courteous, professional, knowledgeable & helpful. We have never felt rushed and Dr McCarthy has listened to every concern we have had and taken time to thoroughly explain his opinion and approach to a remedy. We have also seen Dr Bornfriend and felt we received the same professional service from him. Highly recommend this practice.

I have never written a negative review like this before, however, after my experience at Family Medical of Sayebrook I don't hesitate to at all. When I arrived ten minutes early the receptionist was quite unpleasant. While waiting for my appointment the nurses kept calling everyone in the lobby that arrived after me. My husband and I were the only ones left in the lobby. 40 minutes after my scheduled appt. I was called in. Nurse was inpatient and not accurate (asked my height and didn't even measure). In the past my yearly exams consisted of: - Breast exam - full head to toe check-up - pregnancy test - mental review Complete check-up to make sure my physical and mental health are a okay. After telling this nurse a total of 4 times why I was there (a basic yearly exam) she made a big deal about it like I was inconveniencing her and absolutely ridiculous that I wanted to get that done. She started to argue with me telling me everything they wouldn't be doing for me that day (including a pap). Finally, after me telling her that’s the whole reason I was there, she started to set everything up but very angry/mad/rude. She left the room and I was getting my coat and about ready to leave but was worried my insurance would not let me go somewhere else so felt forced to stay. I was humiliated and so upset. I did not get: - a pregnancy test - no head to toe physical - dr came in and went right to my breasts - didn't even sit down and talk with me - she was in and out in because they wanted to gone so they could go home. All together my experience there was awful. I felt like they didn't care about my wellbeing, 0 customer care, and don right appalling.
