My young daughter went there, they did a horrible job on her hair. To make matters worse they called later and said they didn't charge her enough and wanted $100 more! Being young and naive she paid them thinking if she didn't she would get in trouble. What kind of business calls after you leave to charge you more? My wife talked to the manager who was very rude and who said it wasn't unusual for them to ask for more money after the fact. General manager wasn't much better. So if you want to pay twice and don't care how you look, this is the place, if not RUN.

I have been going to Design 1 for almost 15 years now and have never had a bad experience there. No matter what location I visit or what stylist I see I get great service every time. I am always greeted by friendly staff as soon as I walk in the door and then offered something to drink. I get two shampoos with a men's cut as well as a hot towel. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful.

I use only massage therapy services, but I can tell you that the quality of the massage therapists (especially Suzette) is top notch. They are well-qualified, well-trained and highly professional. The ambience is outstanding. Very high quality Day Spa!

5 stars is not enough for how great this Design 1 of Cascade treated my wife and I on her birthday. Making the appointment was easy, the have a large selection of services, you are greeted with the highest class of service, the environment is VERY professional and lade out, the staff are great, the prices are right, and we're going back next week!!!! Do not schedule less then 30 mins heck even an hour for messages.. the messages are sooo worth more than 25 or 30 min.s (my mistake for making a 25 min.).

We travel from Chicago because we have never found a colorist as good as Julia. She always offers honest recommendations, helps us understand what products are best for our hair, and is always accommodating..even with tight travel schedules. She is the epitome of what a colorist should be and the icing on the cake of excellence that IS Design 1.
