My favorite place in town! Superb attention to customer needs and high quality work. Practitioners and stylists stay current in best products/treatments available. Good communication up and down the line to get both pampered and custom-"done" to your specifications. I've been a better-than-satisfied patron for 15 years.
I would have to say their customer service was extremely poor and this was based on speaking to the manager.I was calling about an issue regarding a person I referred onto their salon and she later stated to me how ugly they were to her upon arrival. The manager further stated to me I still don't understand the purpose of your call. aI once again stated that I was calling on behalf of the referral I sent their way.He still remained very cool and never gave an apology for their poor judgement in handling the referral or how they spoke to me. I guess so many dont get the impact of social media or very poor customer service.
Elizabeth gave me the best haircut! I love it. She listened to what I asked for and made it a reality. Random strangers keep telling me how cute my hair looks. I highly recommend this salon. I have curly hair, and have always been affraid of what I will look like when I leave a salon, but that was not the case at Nesbit. Elizabeth knows what she is doing!
Most stylists that don't know how to cut hair well can at least follow what you had before and maybe not do very much, but at least not give you a whole new hideous haircut. No such luck here - I cried in front of the mirror for the first time in my life. I'll have to avoid looking at myself for the next 3 months and then it will take a very skilled person to fix this ugliness. I'm not picky about my hair. I've had many different stylists and cuts, and can pull almost anything off. My hair didn't even look that bad when I came in. All I asked - please don't cut bangs across, I need to have layers and look professional. And what does the stylist do? He cuts bangs directly across my forehead. I look like doll - and not in a good way. When he realized he messed up, he called a more senior stylist to help. She came and started saying what a wonderful haircut it was and started "fixing" it, but cutting huge chunks out of my bangs, so they started looking even more like a 5th grader did it in front of the mirror. Then she suggested that I just need more "hair product" to make it look better. It was probably obvious by the look on my face that I was unhappy, and then the "helping" stylist told the one that cut my hair, "Well, I guess this will be a learning experience." Even apart from this mistake, the cut was blunt, with straight cuts to the ends without any attempt to blend or layer - it's been about 10 years since anyone cut hair that way. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think I should be paying for learning experiences on my head.
I had a full day of services (which I luckily bought 1/2 off on one of the end of year specials).. The facial and steam shower were the best parts-- but had I paid full price, I would have been thoroughly disappointed-- when it came to the hair and make-up, the girl shampooing me left massage oil and shampoo in the back of my hair. This same girl did my make up and left mascara wand marks on my eyelid-- not to mention the overall make up application was a little scary and I couldnt wait to get out of there so I could wipe it off. Definitely a lot of down time and waiting between sessions.. Decent but not great for the price.
