I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at Shear Ego over the past 2.5 years in regards to their salon services. Never tried their spa side, but it looks very inviting. Yes, they are on the higher priced side (verses the dime a dozen chains) but you do get what you pay for. They do have a points system that you can earn for discounted services and I receive a discount coupon on my birthday. The stylist I see is Christina and she is amazing. I always feel that she takes her time and doesn't rush when she cuts, colors or styles my hair. She always has helpful suggestions for cuts or hi/low lights depending on the season and my hair looks fabulous when I leave. Everyone that I have been in contact with from the front desk to the other stylists and assistants have been professional and seem to enjoy working there. I've lived long enough and visited enough hair salons; that if they fail to deliver a good product and a high level of service then I'm looking elsewhere. They also keep their salon very clean and that is one aspect not lost on this customer. I hope they continue keeping their services at such a high level and retaining talented people such as Christina.

I began going to Shear Ego when it had a salon in Greece, NY. It was convenient, affordable and I really liked the service. Alas, this Greece salon closed. But I decided that since I really liked how Peter styled my hair, that I would drive to Pittsford Plaza; the experience was worth it. Peter was fantastic: great kindness, personality and talent! When he cut his hours, Jackie was recommended and I thru the years I have found her to be just as an amazing professional in all aspects.....stylist, upbeat personality, etc. Every time I visit, I feel very welcomed and cared for and isn't this the type of salon atmosphere everyone wants?!

I always receive amazing outcomes with Jason! I left once because prices kept going up and returned after several years and am so happy I did. Jason F. is so intuitive and has the knowledge of hair types, styles and color. I would recommend Jason F. but wish that Shear Ego would lower their prices.

Very kind and caring front desk. Andrea takes the best care of my nails and hands. She is very friendly, holds conversations very well and completes my manicures gorgeously and in a timely manner. Thank you Andrea!

One of the life-time best hair cuts.....William....new at Shear Ego from Australia (where he owned his own salon). He took my weird hair from wild, out-of-shape and unmanageable to 'in' and lovely!
